Antico Panada

This hotel is infested with bedbugs. The staff are combative and will not willingly give you any discounts. Coming here was a horrible mistake.

Antico Panada was a great choice for our stay in Venice. The location is excellent—just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square and many of the city’s main attractions. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. Perfect for anyone looking to experience the charm of Venice. 😊🇮🇹✨

there was a weird odour in my room on the 2nd floor, most importantly the shower drainage outlet was malfunctioning so i had to keep pausing my shower to let the water flow out before i could continue bathing which was quite annoying — goo location tho

I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel. The promised photos didn’t match the room allotted, the hotel is a maze of stairs with dimly lit aisles and corridors, through which you need to lug your suitcases to reach the room. Flight of stairs even if you do get to take the elevator is almost the usual norm. Shabby room, so small that you cannot open your suitcase wide. Looked like they’ve not changed their carpets since Victorian times. Uncomfortable spring bed, the folding cot type. Dusty interiors. Breakfast is just croissants and coffee. As if all this wasn’t enough: attitude of staff is deplorable. Very unfriendly front desk staff, I don’t know if that’s Venetian hospitality, but I’ll not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms didn’t come cheap, so definitely a disappointment. I just clicked one photo of the room and there’s not any more to it. No storage space, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase which you cannot open wide. AVOID!!

beding covers, pillowcase covers and mattresses covers need to be regularly cleaned or right after the departure of the guests.
