Hotel or hostel?
A very unpleasant and disappointed stay.
AVOID this hotel if you want a perfect Venice trip:
1. WAIT FOR 30 MINS FOR CHECKIN: checkin time is strict between 4pm and 7pm and there is a heads-up that if you arrive after 7pm there will be penalty. I arrived after 4pm and found no one at the lobby (or I should call it living room as it is more like an apartment). Actually I could only wait outside the gate with the passcode as there is no one answering the bell, and no passcode was shared before my arrival.
2. GOT CHARGED FOR AN EXTRA 10 EUROS: the host who was a middle aged guy at checkin was very rude and saying ah you are from xx you must be very rich and I need to charge you more... and 10 seconds later an extra 10 euros needs to be paid for the towel and sheet. Reason is for sustainability but when i mentioned that I brought my own sheet and towel which could save the earth more, the 10 euros would be charged anyway... this is not stated at trip.com nor mentioned by the hotel in the welcoming message.
3. WRONG PLATFORM: the host insisted that my booking was from ******* while I showed him my trip.com booking, and he still kept saying if you book from trip.com it would be better? What's wrong with this hotel?
4. NOT SOUND PROOF AT ALL: my room is along the street and I could hear clearly the sound of footsteps and luggage rolling. Also the door was not tightly closed and made loud sound whenever the front door of the apartment was opened/closed, which made it very annoying when you were trying to sleep
I do not recommend this hotel and hope this review will be able to help more to avoid such unpleasant experience.

Breakfast is not available every day. Just in time! Very warm. The trolley is delivered directly to the room. There are also many varieties.

Good location. The property is located near the railway station. and piazzale Roma. The room is of a good size and so is the bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff of advice on characteristic places and how to visit the city. Great experience.

Alors autant j'ai lu les commentaires négatifs, autant nous n'avons absolument rien a dire sur ce monsieur, qui a été plus que accueillant avec nous !! très gentil, un anglais parfait, et un bel humour ! les chambres sont propres, clair et bien entretenues. je n'ai aucuns points négatifs sur cet établissement !!

Die Lage ist top (ca. 7 Gehminuten von Bahnhof oder Piazzale Roma); in der Umgebung mehrere Cafes und Restaurants sowie Geschäfte (auch Supermarkt). Ausstattung unseres Zimmers (Nr. 2): alles ziemlich neu, bequeme Matratze, Bad klein aber in Ordnung (und es gab immer ausreichend heißes Wasser), Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher (mit Tee und Nescafe), sauber, Insektengitter an den Fenstern, superschnelles WLAN. (Heizung und Klimaanlage vorhanden, haben wir aber beides nicht gebraucht.) Alle Zimmer sind im Erdgeschoss (Fenster gehen auf 2 verschiedene Gassen) und natürlich gehen aufgrund der Lage Nahe Bahnhof häufig Menschen(gruppen) vorbei. Bei geschlossenen Fensterbalken und Fenstern war das allerdings kaum zu hören. Check-in war zwar ungewöhnlich (Schlüssel in anderem Hotel zu holen) - da war aber unsere Zugverspätung daran Schuld und der Mitarbeiter hat mehrmals mit uns gemailt und telefoniert und sich extrem um uns bemüht (und uns dann noch ein gutes Lokal fürs Abendessen empfohlen). Wir konnten die Koffer im Hotel unterstellen und so war der Weg zum anderen Hotel gleich mal ein erster Venedig-Spaziergang. Auch am Abreisetag konnten wir die Koffer im Hotel lassen - lt. interner Regelung des Hotels ist das eigentlich nicht möglich, wurde uns aber angeboten. Wir waren 5 Nächte hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
