We had a wonderful stay at hotel Heureka. It is an old building with high ceilings and other cool features carefully and beautifully renovated and decorated. It is in Canneraggio away from the hustle and bustle of central Venice. It is an oasis of peace and refinement. You have to walk a little further to get to the city center but there is a lovely restaurant district nearby. The best part was meeting the hotel and kitchen managers especially Marco and Beata. They were so attentive helpful and kind and their recommendations and tips made our trip. I highly recommend Heureka and hope to go back myself one day.

We Love Hotel Heureka! We stayed here in October for 3 nights. The whole staff was incredibly professional while still being warm and friendly. They helped with booking museum tickets, restaurant reservations and a complimentary trip to Murano on a private water taxi. The breakfast is delicious and the bartender is great and makes a tasty propriety spritzer. When looking on the map I was a little concerned the hotel wasn’t closer to all the action….trust me, this is a plus. It’s a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. After a day of fighting crowds, walking down the quiet canal to the hotel is a welcome site. It feels like an oasis. The star of the show is the 16th century building that has been meticulously renovated. Not sure how I would describe the design, modern avant-guard while maintaining a connection with the 500 year old building. It’s cool and very unique. Overall a great stay and next time we are in Venice will definitely book again.
