After reading other reviews I had specifically asked not to be placed on the ground floor since the room would be next to the reception desk. Of all their rooms - they gave us that one. Room and amenities were not worth the price of the hotel. We would not stay here again.

Main issue here were bedbugs that left everyone with multiple bites.
Heat/AC was not working properly either.
Convenient area to stay in but cannot leave a positive review with children having bites all over.

Beautiful hotel with exquisite attention to all its details. We spent 3 unforgettable nights, the customer service was very good and the breakfast was very complete and necessary to start the day. The beds are comfortable and all the facilities have been well maintained despite the place's many years of age. I would come back again. Thank you very much for all your attention.

Historic hotel, excellent breakfast and a very friendly staff. The location is excellent for what we were looking for, which is to be walkable to the main San Marco square but not be right by it so we can experience other corners of the town. Quiets down well after the day trippers leave the island for a pleasant walk around.

It is faboulous. The location is very central, however central means a bit noisy, too. Reason: people walking in the night. The rest is perfect, very romantique. We loved it.

As a family, we loved our stay at this hotel. The room was ideal, staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was perfecrly adequate, with a nice view out to a square. It was in the heart of venice, on a canal side.
