Really looked after well, as it's small, we got lot of attention from Luca. He gave lots of tips daily on how to get around, where to get cheaper meals, central location meant when we felt tired in late afternoons, we could come for a rest and then head off again to explore. Rooms were cleaned daily, new towels supplied. We got a kettle as we asked for it. Day before we left for Lake Garda, Luca checked train schedule, printed timetable for us which made it easy to plan the day. On day of arrival we found it hard to find the Block, as soon as you see Hotel Saturnia on Calle Large, opp. is a narrow street, 1st side building, you will see numbered door bell where you punch code given by Hotel in advance. They even offered on departure if we wish to leave our bags at Hotel until we were ready to leave Venice. It wasn't a Grand Hotel, 1 flight of stairs, but the location and personal attention we received was well worth it.

Very clean, easy check-in, and they’re very flexible. Highly recommended. Only downside is it’s a bit hard to find but that is nice for privacy. Doors aren’t very soundproof so just be aware of that.

We (two adults, two adult daughters) spent three days in Venice between Christmas and New Year's Eve and booked two double rooms in Ca' Pedrocchi.
Getting there was uncomplicated, the accommodation is just a few steps away from the Giglio vaporetto station.
Check-in was friendly and uncomplicated. When we arrived the reception was occupied, but this is far from always the case. A hassle-free self-check-in method is provided for arrivals outside of opening hours.
The two rooms (second floor, no elevator) were quite ok and relatively spacious. The heater is a warm air fan, which probably works as an air conditioner in the summer. It only got really warm in the room on the second day.
The bathrooms are functional and clean. The shower head in room 33 should be repaired (broken seal).
We asked the two gentlemen at the reception for tips on traditional "Bacari", and the tips were quite useful!
The location a few steps from St. Mark's Square is of course very convenient for sightseeing, and each of the other sestieri can also be easily reached on foot.
