Hotel Malibran

I was really very happy with my stay at Hotel Malibran! The location is absolutely brilliant – extremely close to the Rialto Bridge and right on one of the livelier main streets. A big plus: you don't have to walk through shady or lonely alleys at night; the area feels very safe. The 24-hour reception is super convenient, and the staff were consistently very friendly. The room was well-equipped, and the air conditioning, in particular, worked excellently. The hotel's own restaurant is a great extra, and the food there is really delicious. The breakfast selection is perfectly fine (there's toast, cold cuts, cheese, muesli, boiled eggs, croissants – only warm scrambled eggs are missing) to start the day well. Overall, truly excellent value for money – especially in combination with the great deal from Trip.com. I'd happily come again!

Great location, easy to get to, and the reception staff were very kind and helpful. The interior of the hotel could use some updating, but it was clean nonetheless 😊

At the end, I was told that the tax payment could only be made in cash, which was a problem because I didn't have any cash on me.

The room is furnished with antique furniture, which isn't practical for living. It's old and run-down. Breakfast consists of bread, coffee, and milk.

Hotel in the center of Venice, a historic building, the room is good, but I would replace the pillows… The breakfast is good. The staff is amazing.
