It was what i expected for last-minute booking for Venice. Old building, steep stairs, good character, nice staff. Good breakfast at small cafe across the street. Very convenient little store next door for groceries. Stay away from the ATM next door that fraudulently tried to take money from my accounts.

We booked this hotel as we were on a budget, however it was not a hotel, more a hostel. If you want a budget room to lay your head this is it. If you are not wanting a clean, comfortable and welcoming space to spend time in please avoid this accommodation. Likewise, if you have any mobility issues this is not for you. No lift and very step stairs. The rooms are very, very small as are the bathrooms. The shower was so small you could not bend and pick shampoo from the floor without knocking yourself out. Water was hot and plentiful but took around 5 minutes to come through. The hotel was very old so I understand it would be impossible to keep it pristine however the carpets were sticky and the table top oscillating fan thick with dust. There was a smell of foist in the air. We literally spent 8 hours or so there sleeping so it suited it’s purpose. Very close to st marks square and the water to and from train station. We did laugh about the worst accommodation we had ever stayed on and loved to tell the tell but if you have anything other than low standards stay elsewhere. For reference we paid over £100 per night.

Where do i start? Left bit up i know there were mosquitoes and my feet that were covered were up as well but still bit up. i left at dawn. Bathroom was clean and i was given a bottle of water i guess he saw me having an asthma attack to get upstairs. There was a smell of rust i could not sleep because of it. The carpet needs cleaned. The hike to get upstairs with bags omg i though i would die. This is the worse hotel italy. What is that smell? I covered the drains and still such stench. I have videos i will upload

Great location, very cute! Incredibly helpful staff texted us to reconfirm our arrival time after we had a delayed flight and gave us great directions about how to get to the hotel from the airport. The stairs up to the room provided an excellent workout that balanced out all the deep fried food we ate. Only downside: mosquitoes. We got absolutely eaten alive during our stay, but honestly Venice was totally worth it!

The environment certainly does not exude joy. The most sparkling thing is the shower curtain decorated with bamboo, a shrub typical of the region. Bring your own color TV and hairdryer if you are addicted to them. Be careful when booking, as not all rooms have a private bathroom. The location is good for the venues of the Biennale: ****nale and Giardini. Calm and discreet neighborhood, with various comforts: nearby pizzeria, taverns, pastry shop, supermarket. Breakfast not provided: if you do not affix the appropriate card, the room will not be cleaned. The stairs to the house are quite steep, but my room had a very high ceiling and exposed beams, and two windows overlooking the Salizada, which was not too noisy.

Dirty, smelly, noisy, with the shared bathroom and for an excessive price. Full of mosquitoes and not a mosquito net on the windows... It's a dump, a scam.

The area in which it was located was fine, there were bars, restaurants, shops, etc... a characteristic area of Venice and therefore pleasant. The stairs up to the hotel were small and steep. I hate the carpet in the room if it's also stained it's even worse. No tv in the room, normal bed.

Super consigliato!
