The facilities of the hostel were great, especially the lounging area was comfortable enough to sit and wait if one had been early for the check-in time. However, when we checked into our room long after the official check-in time, the beddings of a bunk bed were not made. In fact, cover sheets and blankets of those beds were just laid there all messy and one even had holes in it (shown in the pictures provided below). That was not the only inconvenience, however. A fire alarm in the hostel had been activated at 3 am of August 11th randomly, which rang for at least two hours, but management and staff were not as competent when handling an emergency situation like that in my opinion. Guests of the hostel had to be waken up with a banging noise of alarm in the midst of their sleep and evacuated outside to stand still for 2 full hours with no explanation or compromisation. It has to be considered that all kinds of people are being hosted in this hostel, such as the elderly, the children, and also disabled people who cannot be put under that kind of stress and also deprivation of sleep. If compromisation of a late check-out was made with customers, it would at least compensate for the inconvenience it brought to people.
