Hotel Tintoretto

The hotel is conveniently located beside the main road. There are shops, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Our room is spacious and clean. Hot Water supply is good for Shower during winter. The staff is very friendly. She personally brought us to view our room and introduce the room facilities to us. We are very happy with our Stay here.

Nice little hotel set in the north of the city near a service canal. Good base if a little tired in decor. We had room 400 which was spacious and adequate, this is situated to the front of the hotel overlooking a Trattoria restaurant which is not linked to the hotel. The restaurant closed at 10pm so there was not much disruption from this although there is a fruit/juice shack at the end of the alley on the main walkway which closed at 3am and the shutters being used did cause us some disturbance. Building work is also happening opposite to our window and they started around 7:30-8:00am. Reception were very helpful with information being as this was our first time in Venice and whilst we’d travelled by pre-paid shared water taxi from the airport, we needed advice for our return which they supplied the best/cheapest option. We also had an early start before breakfast (which is 7:45 til 10 am) and they kindly arranged for a breakfast box each which was more than substantial made up of fruit and pastries. The breakfast was served in an Osteria restaurant which you reach through the back from the hotel reception but can also be accessed from the square behind the hotel alleyway off the main walkway. Must pay a tourist tax to the hotel of €3.50 per visitor per night so as we stayed 4 nights this cost us €28 upon arrival, which they require in cash. Great little location, would stay again.

A little Gem in Venice. What can I say, I was recommended this hotel by my nephew. Location great, all the staff are so attentive. Gabriella and Carla are so helpful and all staff are so excellent and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Rooms cleaned daily, bedding towels are excellent quality of the purest white. Breakfast is so good and a good choice fresh quality food. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody. A beautiful place in a fantastic location. Great location rooms basic. One plug socket,? Very clean . Staff are lovley . Breakfast was good typical med breakfast cheese ham ceral youghrt . Room bit basic . No English tv ! Venice is a day plsce not a big night time place .so would be nice to watch a bit of Tv

We have just returned from a wonderful 3-night stay in this little gem of a hotel and would definitely stay again. We caught the water bus from the airport, and it couldn’t be easier. We purchased return tickets from the ticket machine and caught the Alilaguna orange line to Guglie. It was then an easy 10-minute walk to the hotel. Google maps work well in Venice. We checked in and was given a room in the main hotel. It was comfortable but basic. When we woke on the first morning, we had no hot water. On speaking to main reception, they were very helpful and quickly moved us to a wonderful canal view room. We felt very lucky and loved that room. I will definitely think about paying extra for a canal room if we stay again. Breakfast is continental but has a good variety and something for everyone. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. The location is fantastic. Only a 10-minute walk to the Rialto Bridge and another 10 minutes to St Mark’s Square but I recommend just switching off your Google maps and getting lost. There are so many wonderful things to see. Make sure you pop into a bar and order Aperol Spritz & Cicchetti (Italian Tapas like finger food)
