Whilst the hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, overlooking vast mountains and the lake, I did not sleep well as I could hear all movements in the surrounding rooms, the walls must be very thin. Also, I had a queen bed with only a single duvet and it wasn’t nearly big enough to cover me. So given that the main purpose of a hotel is to get a good nights sleep, I’m only giving it 3 stars.

The topic says it all. Located on a hill top the scenery is indeed nice. Parking on the premise can never be overvaluated in Italy. In this case plenty of space. The room had recently been refurbished so all was clean and new. One downside was the non functional air conditioning which again was not really needed due to cool weather. On the base floor of the hotel is a restaurant which provided the positive surprice : The food and service were simply outstanding. The however cannot be said about the breakfast which was sort of a skeleton version of something one would normally expect after such a good experience the floor below. If there was a rating between Average and Very good this place would be good but still some place for improvement.

The hotel is well located at the lake, was very clean and the restaurant they have is really good! we had dinner at the hotel for 3 nights! Great pasta and pizza. My only complain was the bathroom and breakfast. When you shower the whole floor gets flooded and was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was a really disaster...i expected more.

Can’t beat the views
This hotel was nice, nestled at the top of Lake Como and at the bottom of a mountain! Be mindful, it’s still quite the uphill trek from the main road if you don’t have a car! Train is about a 15 min walk. There is only 2 restaurants in town, one in the hotel, so you’re at their mercy! The room is good but the views! That’s why you’re there, can’t beat them! Enjoy!
