"The hotel is very dated and could use a makeover. a musty sewer air in the shower, and here too, a lot needs to be done. The mattresses also need to be replaced. And the wifi does not work, there is nowhere in the hotel well beriek. So do not adventurate with wifi throughout the hotel."

"Our first time in a youth hostel pleasantly surprised us. The room and its private bathroom, with toilet, were clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast buffet plentiful with the possibility of eating sweet or savory according to tastes and the welcome was very nice. Private secure parking for a fee but at a reasonable price (€6). Really the best possible quality/price ratio."

"I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my wife and wasn’t disappointed. I had stayed here twice before, a few years ago and it is still of a high standard. The staff were all helpful and engaging, our room was adequate for a short stay, the only thing l would like to see changed would be the provision of a kettle in the room to make coffee or tea with but not a game changer. Breakfast was adequate and a reasonable choice of food to choose from, there are no hot dishes to be had unless you include hard boiled eggs. The restaurant is worth a special mention as it has a good selection of dishes and wines to suit everyone, the prices are also very competitive. Service was prompt throughout our meals and we opted to eat here for the three nights we stayed. There was no need to pre book a table. Don’t be put off by the location which is close by an industrial estate, the location is quiet but really convenient for either going into Verdun or visiting the many WW1 battlefields and forts. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
