La Résidence des Trois Couronnes ★★★★
"The hotel has a great location, and Trip.com must have gotten a special deal on room types; some of the lake-view balcony rooms are quite ordinary."
Grand Hotel du Lac - Relais & Châteaux ★★★★★
"I was very disappointed with my stay at the Grand Hotel Du Lac Vevey this time. The first is that the hardware facilities are too old. The floor of the large lake view room was actually uneven and wobbly when you stepped on it. The water in the bathtub is not flowing smoothly. Breakfast service level was too poor. We ordered breakfast, but the waiter confirmed it twice very rudely. We drove here, and parking outside the hotel costs 40 Swiss francs per night. Remind them to repair the floor when leaving the store. He actually didn't seem to care. The price is absolutely Swiss five-star price, but the service is really terrible. I really don’t know why it received such good reviews in a certain red book. In short, I will not come again, nor will I recommend it to my friends."
Hotel Abaca ★★★
"We just stayed one night but that was enough. The room is clean, front desk very efficient and friendly and there is a small free parking. That’s for the good. Now.. .our room was ultra basic and small, bathroom is a micro plastic capsule. Insonorisation is absent. And the neighborhood is neither pleasant nor convenient. Admittedly this hotel is cheaper than others but for what I offers it is still was too expensive."
Modern Times Hotel, Vevey, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel ★★★★
"The room is quite big."
Vevey Hotel & Guesthouse ★★
"This is a wonderful little hotel/hostel. Situated in the main square, above BlaBla restaurant (which seems to be the most popular place in town). Our room was huge with a lovely little balcony, overlooking the square and lake. Five rooms on our floor, sharing one female and one male bathroom, worked out well, with us not bumping into anyone else. The carpet was a bit worn, but we were impressed with the room for the price."
Astra Vevey Hotel & Restaurant ★★★★
"It's very close to Vevey train station, just across the street from the exit, so there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and bus stops nearby, making it very convenient. The room we booked was quite large, and we easily accommodated our last-minute request for an extra bed. Our room also came with a kitchen, complete with cutlery, utensils, and a microwave. For Chinese people accustomed to hot water and hot meals, after the torment of cold bread and salads in German-speaking Switzerland, it was finally possible to buy cold food from the supermarket and heat it up in the room before eating. Haha… The bathroom was a bit dated; the air conditioning was probably a retrofit, so it had its own remote control, not a panel on the wall. The breakfast was simple, with limited options. If you wanted coffee, you had to ask the waiter, and they would brew a pot for you. It's very close to Vevey train station—just cross the road from the exit. So, there are plenty of surrounding supermarkets, restaurants, and bus stops, making it quite convenient. The booked room is relatively spacious, and our temporary request for an extra bed was easily fulfilled. The room type we chose also comes with a kitchen, equipped with tableware, cooking utensils, and a microwave. For Chinese people who are used to drinking hot water and eating warm meals, after being "tortured" by all the cold bread and cold salads in the Swiss German-speaking region, it’s such a relief to finally be able to buy cold food from the supermarket, take it back to the room, and heat it up before eating. Haha... The bathroom facilities are a bit old. The air conditioner seems to be retrofitted too, so it has a separate remote control instead of being controlled by a panel on the wall. The breakfast is quite simple with not a lot of options. If you want coffee, you need to ask the waiter, and they’ll brew a pot separately."
Hôtel des Trois Couronnes & Spa - the Leading Hotels of the World ★★★★★
"Exceptional place... the hotel, the location, the rooms, the spa, the view, the staff!!!! My son got married there last Saturday. The space for the ceremony was perfect, the dinner afterwards was in the most beautiful ballroom. I cannot say enough about the staff and attention to every detail. As well, we were surprised at the cost of stay expecting it to be more."
VISIONAPARTMENTS Vevey - self check-in ★★★
"The apartment was clean. The TV wasn't working... during the football season, that's disappointing for the guest."
Les Negociants ★★★
"The room is clean, pretty small, location is good, about 10 mins walk from the train station. The downside is the water from the tap takes a very long time to become warm, so my hands developed frostnip just after one night stay. The food in the restaurant is very nice, recommended."
