Hotel Stella d'Italia

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we were not dissapointed! The staff are the foundation of this hotel, unbelievable breakfast! So much choice, buffet of hot breakfast, fruits, pastries and lots lots more, and of course for celiacs! The staff go above and beyond from the breakfast ladies to the receptionists, not to forget the cleaners! The receptionists Elena, Thea unbelievable, they make amazing Aperol Sprits and helped find glasses for the Solar Eclipse! The breakfast ladies like Maria and Antonella are so eager to please even made us breakfast that we really enjoyed, especially the berry and cinnamon strudel! The cleaning ladies are so nice and always try their best to make the rooms at a convenient time for you, the rooms are so clean! The location is amazing, so many shops, restraunts, beach!

Feel at home effect good restaurannt as well very balanced price quality. Perfect central location near to Piazza Mazzini

Amazing experience and beautiful Viareggio

Plus points, amazing friendly helpful staff. Easy 15 minutes walk to train station and even better 5 minutes to the gorgeous beach. Slightly noisy at night outside ( not hotels fault). As a vegan breakfast is limited, but there is bread and rolls ( but no spread that I saw),there's fruit but for hot drinks only available taken black.

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Stella d'Italia, I booked a 3 stars hotel knowing I couldn't expect a luxury environment but, despite an average general evaluation, I cannot avoid to underline some very disappointing details: 1) the sink in the bathroom was badly cracked (see photos); 2) the air conditioning was extremely noisy (one night I woke up looking in the street thinking some works were in progress; 3) in the shower box there are no place for soap and shampoo, I ended up putting them on the floor and bending every time I needed them, quite uncomfortable; 4) in the bathroom there are no hooks or other way to hang the wet towels. These points are quite basic and should be available even at 3 stars hotels (or less).

Only stayed for a night but good 3*star hotel. Would happily stay there again. 10 mins walk from the railway station and close to the restaurants and beach.
