Great location, short walk to the inner harbour. Room is nice and tidy, staffs are polite and helpful

This was a nightmarish trip, 1st I had asked for a room on the highest floor possible, with a view of the Harbour, I am a photographer and made the trip to Victoria to get some great photos of the inner Harbour. I got a room on tenth floor overlooking the parking lot and side street. The windows were so dirty it was hard to see anything, in my eyes I was ripped off, I am not going to to stay at any Merriott hotels, at the time of my booking it said they had a buffet breakfast and when I arrived they told me there is no buffet breakfast just a restaurant on site, parking was said to be free self parking. I was charged $29.40 / night to self park my truck.

It was amazing to stay there! The staff were so friendly! One of them greeted us in our language, which was so nice! The room was so clean too!

The room was spacious and the service was great! The hotel is in a great location for venturing downtown by foot. We parked in their underground parking while we were there. Even when we checked out, we were allowed to keep our car in the lot until 4pm (but confirm with the front desk just incase).

The location is very close to Inner Harbour so it is very convenient. There is a direct bus from ferry terminal to the hotel nearby. Just walk less than 5 minutes will reach the hotel. Bus number 75 and cost CA 2.5 per head. It takes about an hour.

Happy and good experience to stay in your hotel at our first time in Victoria!

Great place to stay

The location is great, with restaurants and bars all around. The curtains let in some light, but that wasn't the biggest issue. My biggest issue was the poor soundproofing. I was woken up at 7 a.m. by the noise from the neighbors. Other than that, everything else was great.

Victoria is not big. This hotel is located in the heart of downtown, and you can basically walk everywhere. Within 10 minutes of leaving the hotel, you can see all the scenery near the Inner Harbour. There are countless high-quality restaurants. Apart from the price being a little high during peak season, there is almost no disadvantage.

The room was clean and tidy, a little small. The hotel has convenient parking and a good location. It's just a few minutes' walk to the core area of ​​the port. The negative thing is that the room rate is too expensive and does not include breakfast.
