Shu Garden Sea View Chinese Resturant Hotel (VI)

The rooms are clean and tidy. The first floor is a bit damp, but higher floors are fine. Recommended: Sea view, clear swimming pool, three meals included, free bottled water, 24-hour hot water. You can also opt for a private kitchen, BBQ, bubble tea, and entertainment like KTV and Mahjong. Downsides: Occasionally, there's a faint smell of dead rats and sewage from the outdoor patio. The tap water is yellowish, there are frequent power outages, and the 4G network is poor.

1. The food is absolutely terrible; half the families in China cook better than their chefs. 2. There are rats in the room!!!!! A rat woke me up in the middle of the night. 3. There were lizards outside the door!! 4. The room maintenance is extremely poor; the towel rack was broken. 5. All in all, this hotel only survives because it's in Nigeria and many Chinese people need to stay here. Otherwise, it would have gone out of business a long time ago.

I came to Nigeria for a business trip, and choosing Shu Garden Hotel was such a great decision! The pool water was crystal clear, and it even had a treadmill next to it – a dream come true for fitness enthusiasts. You can combine cardio and relaxation without having to specifically look for a gym. The security was also incredibly reassuring; there's strict registration for entry and exit, so I felt completely safe strolling around the grounds at night. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and attentive, with every detail taken care of. Next time I'm in Nigeria, I'm definitely staying here again! They also have KTV rooms and such, which are perfect for business entertaining. Plus, it's right next to a bay – I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel in my home country that offers such a unique location.

The location is excellent. Although the room is small, it has everything you need. It's very safe and clean. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, making you feel right at home. The front desk staff speaks excellent Chinese.

The room was very clean and the service was good, especially the three meals which were all very well prepared. It's also convenient to hail a taxi nearby.

Purely Chinese-managed, the rooms are super clean and tidy. The three meals are delicious and to my liking, thanks to the Chinese chef, 👍. I've been here many times. They have everything you need: SIM cards, Chinese cigarettes and alcohol, Sichuan cuisine, and Northeastern BBQ. I've stayed here multiple times and highly recommend it.
