On top of that we were waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable for a good sleep. The staff is friendly and ready to help with all the things you need."

The hotel has a cosy garden to rest. but.... the breakfast was limited and could be improved. However you can also store food in the common fridge."

"It’s a nicely designed hotel: a modern feel, lots of wood and polished concrete, nicely laid out. The breakfast room has large windows and great views across the bay. Bizarrely, so did my bathroom: definitely one for an exhibitionist. (There was a blind.) My room was bright and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows some of the best I had on this trip. The place could do with a bit of TLC. My bath towel had a hole in it. The top of the skirting boards hadn’t been cleaned for months - if ever - although the hotel generally felt and smelt clean. My door was stiff and the lock kept failing, requiring a couple of trips to the reception desk. The restaurant/bar is also a bit of an issue. In fairness, they don’t describe it as a restaurant, but they do serve food in the evenings, which is useful given that the hotel is about 20-30 minutes from most of the town’s restaurants. There are only 4 tables set up for dining and you have to make a reservation to use one. I could have eaten at a less suitable table without a reservation. I went back to my room to decide whether to go out and found the dining tables still empty when I came back 30 minutes later. I was allowed one then. Perhaps if I spoke Spanish I’d understand the system? It was the only hotel I stayed in with no complementary drinking water. That would be an easy improvement to make. Managing the hotel’s idiosyncrasies are some friendly and likeable staff."

"The property was in a good location 2 blocks back from the beach but also very quiet. The communication with the property manager was very good even though English was not his first language and Spanish is not ours Google translate helped a lot. The property has a storage facility for baggage which proved very useful in that we arrived early and could drop our bags off and use the bathroom facilities before heading off for breakfast on the beachfront. Like wise at check out the storage facilities were useful. Pablo also advised us of a good car rental company who were very good. The flat itself was very clean a good size and had a very comfortable large bed, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. A nice little kitchen set up too."

"Hotel Tolosa is located in the centre of Puerto Madryn. At walking distance, you find the boulevard, the pier and a choice of restaurants and tour agencies. The hotel offers 90 rooms over 4 floors and has a nice restaurant. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Our small room was adequately furnished & decorated, with desk & chair, TV on the wall, wardrobe & safe (didn’t work), and a reasonable double-bed. We had a very small separate bathroom with toilet, bidet, washbasin and shower over the bath. The window opens into a patio. All was clean. The buffet breakfast is good: a choice of pastries in Italian style, croissants, bread & toast, ham & cheese, scrambles eggs, butter & marmalade, fruit salad, juice, cereals & milk, tea & coffee. We found Hotel Tolosa nice, and we had a good stay. Recommended."
