Beautiful hotel, tasteful interiors, spacious rooms with balcony, very clean, superb personnel and great location in front of Schönbrunn Castle gardens and close to U4 line to the City Centre (about 15min by subway to reach Karlsplatz/Opera/Ringstr). With my highest recommendations.

Nice hotel with friendly staff

room looks smaller than images, though the exterior of the hotel is beautiful with the function room with christmas vibes. has good heater in the room. One thing i found rather taken back by was a conversation i had with the server at their cafe called Schlosscafe. I ordered a Flat White with them, and the barista/server went straight saying “ this is not starbucks or something. we dont serve that, only real coffee.” mm okay, so offer me your real u coffee, because i was not given any recommendations after his responds. And have to think of something else that would be considered REAL in there. quite an experience…. Location was only great because it is next the schonbrunn palace. Walking distance.

Austria Trend Hotel Schönbrunn Wien was absolutely gorgeous. The ambience was warm and inviting, and its location—right in front of Schönbrunn Palace—made it a wonderful choice for those visiting the palace. There were plenty of nearby shops and cafes, which added to the convenience. However, if you’re planning to do sightseeing in the main city, transportation is something to consider. You’d either need to take a taxi (about 15–20 minutes) or a tram (around 45 minutes). So, while this hotel is perfect for a Schönbrunn-focused stay, it might not be the most convenient base for exploring the entire city. The staff were friendly, but one issue stood out—housekeeping. On our morning of departure, cleaning staff knocked on our door around 10–11 AM, seemingly checking when we would be leaving. Since checkout was at 12 noon, it felt like they were unnecessarily rushing us, which was a bit frustrating. Another concern arose after checkout. We left our luggage near the baggage room at reception to explore more, and upon returning, the staff couldn’t locate our bags—even though we had the receipt given by the staff when we dropped them off. Instead, we were asked to search through the luggage ourselves in a room full of other guests’ belongings. This didn’t feel very secure, as it seemed possible for someone to mistakenly—or even intentionally—take another person’s bags. Better monitoring or improved staff training in this area would certainly enhance the experience. Despite these issues, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were welcoming overall. With a few improvements in housekeeping procedures and baggage storage security, this could be an even better place to stay.

We asked for late check - out at 14:00 but the entered the room at 12 and get out the bed sheets before.

The hotel is really nice, checked in at midnight and even this time the employee at front desk was very friendly, providing a very professional service, kind. Taxi ordered as requested.

The original room allocated was dirty and they did not service it on my first day. They changed the room upon my feedback and there forth cleanliness was up to standard. Though I always find a variety of bugs and insects in my room every day, from a spider the size of half my palm to beetle etc. Guess that is a result of being too close to the garden?

WE really enjoyed our stay AT the hotel. Excellent experience from A to Z. Great staff, abundant breakfast, Amazing clean room... Would definitely stay here again. Recommand it 💯

nice stay, bathroom little small

The room is quite big in Europe. It is convenient to eat around. It is very convenient to buy things at the supermarket on the right. The hotel is across the park from Schönbrunn Palace. The environment is very good.

The room is very nice. The whole hotel is very large, like a holiday estate. There are also gardens and lots of green plants. There is a cafe next to the hotel reception where you can eat cakes and drink afternoon tea. It is very cozy. There is also a bar next to it where you can have a drink. It is also very close to the attractions, only a 10-minute walk away. The room is also very good. Overall, it was a good experience!
