It was very convenient as it was next to the tram station and close to the subway. The room was clean, and the tap water was cold and drinkable, which I assume is because it's the famed alpine water I'd heard about. Just a small note, there's no refrigerator.

It’s about 8 mins walk to Wien Westbahnhof station, there are 2 Billa and 1 Hofer market near the station, so getting food is not a problem. There’s a tram station in front of the hotel, it’s convenient to travel around, including travelling to Wien hbf. The room is same as the photo shown when booking, it’s basic and nothing fancy.

I'll start with the check-in/check-out staff: kind and attentive. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, but the hotel is really huge, 13 floors! However, once you get a seat... the food is varied and fresh. We paid cash to the gentleman taking names at the entrance because it wasn't included in our reservation. The room and bathroom were very small but had everything necessary and a fantastic view. A positive experience, would do again.

I highly recommend booking the half-board option. The food was absolutely fantastic and well worth the price. Breakfast and dinner are served at Günter's, located on the hotel's ground floor. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, but I've definitely stayed in worse. The carpets are dirty, the elevator can sometimes be inadequate, and there are no restrooms in the lobby. The air conditioning worked in three out of four rooms, with one being faulty. There's also not much seating area in the lobby. Other than that, I can easily say it's a good choice. It's a true value-for-money hotel, and the tram stop is right outside.

Booked this hotel for our last night in Vienna because we wanted to catch the summer night concert at Schönbrunn Palace, as it's conveniently located nearby. However, the experience wasn't great.
