Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof

The value for money isn't great; it definitely doesn't feel like a five-star hotel. There's practically no lobby, though the sauna downstairs is decent. I stayed for five or six days, but the price hike at the end was too much, so I moved. The service attitude was also very poor. The only good thing about it was the location.

The location is fantastic, right next to the subway entrance. The facilities are decent. Breakfast was good, but seriously, be careful when getting the bacon and grilled tomatoes – they're scalding hot! Even though the hotel has 'steam hot' warnings, it's still easy to burn yourself.

Absolutely terrible. They charge 15 euros for water delivery to the room, which is disgusting service. The woman at the reception was chewing gum the whole time. 😊

An excellent experience. In Europe, it's great to find a place with such convenient transportation, making every attraction easily accessible. There are also plenty of great food options nearby. Simply fantastic!

A decent hotel with a great location. However, the room cleaning was subpar. More strikingly, there are 25 beehives on the hotel roof, and a massive swarm of bees had congregated on the terrace directly under a sun umbrella. When we requested the bees be removed from the terrace, it quickly became clear that the bees were prioritized over guests. They strung us along with promises for two days while supposedly dealing with them, and even after that, a significant number of bees continued to swarm on the terrace for quite some time. This whole situation was utterly unsatisfactory and left a very poor impression of the hotel's management. We will definitely be choosing a different hotel for our next stay.

The room was decent and the location quite central. It's best to confirm your booking beforehand. We ran into some problems upon arrival, but Ctrip proactively resolved the issues, which was great. However, the hotel staff were a bit unfriendly.
