We were only at the hotel for less than 12 hours. Location is great for seeing old town Vienna. Importantly, the hotel provided a taxi booking for a 4 AM departure to the airport. The staff were very helpful. This is a classic old-style hotel with character. We enjoyed the short time we had there.

Good and comfortable enough

Decent hotel at a great location. 4 mins walk from Schottentor station and the Straßebahn. You can also walk to most touristy locations. You do pay a lot for the location though. My room was super tiny and the bed wasn’t the best. The breakfast is mediocre though…. I was very disappointed by how tiny the selection is. Do NOT pay for breakfast. It’s not worth it at all and there are plenty of places you can go to nearby. If I come back to Vienna, I wouldn’t book this hotel again. It was way too expensive for what you get. Again, you pay for the location.

Booked a family room 2 adults and 2 kids, 22m2 for the year end celebrations in Trip.com. Got a couples room, 1 double bed, 16m2. After, an exchange of blame, they finally agreed to add a 1-person sofa. We stayed crammed in a small dark room for 2 nights. Staff mostly friendly but clearly understaffed. Having to queue for long everytime we needed to talk to the reception. It was crowded Everytime we passed by. Good location, within 20min walk from all the central activities and celebration 🍾 so we didn't worry about the time we had to go back.
