"This hotel is located right in Vik, directly across from a supermarket and a large Icewear store – even bigger than the one in Reykjavik, making it great for browsing. It's within walking distance of Vik Church, and the hotel offers an aurora wake-up service. The hotel itself is relatively new, with large floor-to-ceiling windows in both the rooms and the restaurant, offering excellent views. However, the breakfast is just average. Ground floor rooms have direct access to the outside via their large windows. The room's environment and cleanliness are both good."

We loved the apartment — great facilities, beautiful view, and perfect location. We even managed to see our first aurora in Vik!"

"This hotel offers a fantastic environment for its location, complete with free sauna access and excellent service – they even helped me print some documents, which was great. The only issue is that the 'sea view' room doesn't really have a sea view. It overlooks a patch of grass, and the sea is very far away, about a 20-minute walk. You basically can't see the sea from the room. I'd recommend booking a mountain view room instead; it would probably be prettier."
