Hotel Dona Ana ★★★★
"Hotel Dona Ana Vilanculos is a delightful heritage hotel with a fascinating love story between Dona Ana and the owner that adds a unique charm to its character. We had the pleasure of staying in a superior room with a circular wall and a breathtaking view. The breakfast was enjoyable, and it’s evident that they are working on enhancing it further. The hotel boasts stunning vistas, and the vintage 1950s/1960s decor adds to its special ambiance. The combination of history, aesthetics, and warm hospitality makes Dona Ana Vilanculos a truly memorable destination."
Casa Babi ★★★★
"Cherie Sabrina - i have just seen the evaluation sheet and the wooden dugongo as a gift- appreciate this so much. I would respond with 5 to all questions you posted in your evaluation sheet. When i travel, i prefer exactly the place that you have guys built and run since more than 10 years - with dedication, personal touch, tourism with ❤️, boutique hotel design and local involvement. Your bakery is a piece of France, your dinnet menus are balanced and well thought through, the hit is your homemade nutella. The operator you work with to go to the islands is a top notch and his staff is friendly, patient and modest. J'ai dormi bien avec mon nouveau coussin . MERCI BEAUCOUP ET BONNE CONTINUATION "
Villas do Indico Eco - Resort & Spa Lodge ★★★★
"THIS RESORT IS CLOSED. TOOK OUR DEPOSIT AND WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING BACK FROM THEM SINCE JULY 2025 - THEY WERE ALREADY CLOSED LAST YEAR."
Bahia Mar Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"Really love this hotel. The view from the lobby is amazing. We were so nicely surprised upon arrival. All staff are super friendly! Highly recommend this hotel for travelers coming here!"
Ocean Pearl Beach Lodge ★★★
Aguia Negra ★★★
"Stayed here in June 2024 and I wasn’t disappointed. The facilities were decent and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the fact that it was situated in a good location of the small little town called Vilanculos. I would recommend for quick stays."
Santorini Mozambique ★★★★
"We absolutely loved it at Santorini, Mozambique! It is the most perfect intimate setting. From the architecture, to the beaches, to all the fun hang out spots and especially the kindness and helpfulness of the people, it could not have been better. Simon, our host, was especially helpful, kind, and easy to talk to. Everyone, from host, manager, message therapist and even the chef goes out of their way to make you feel at home. What a vibe!!"
Vilanculos Beach Lodge ★★★★
"We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here and had a lovely time. The resort is very well laid out with lots of outside seating and lounging areas, and the rooms are nicely spread out in the grounds. Pool gorgeous for swimming as much larger than many similar resorts. The food was great, lots of choice available throughout the day. The hotel marked our anniversary with a lovely welcome gift and a special set up for dinner. We'd like to thank Antonio for all his help with this. We did the boat trip to the islands which was fantastic, plenty of time to look around and the lunch was lovely. Airport transfer very efficient. Great trip, highly recommended - thank you!"
AsDunas Lodge ★★★★★
"My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in Nov 24 and had the most incredible stay at Asdunas. The food is fresh and delicious, daily massages were a real bonus and the beds are so comfortable. We kept a couple of the tent sides uncovered overnight to allow the lovely sea breeze in to keep us cool & was lovely to wake up to the natural morning sunlight! Could not recommend Asdunas and the team there enough to anyone thinking of visiting Mozambique!"
