It is a short 5-7 minute walk to the beach, is close to the heated and chilled pool, and is also a very private end unit!There is reserved parking at the front door of this third-row villa. This unit is so nicely furnished that you will feel right at home. Leather furnishings that are wiped off between stays are an upgrade from upholstered furniture....The kitchen is well-designed, flanked by a 3 person bar, so if you like to cook while you are at the beach you will be impressed with the size and appointments. All of the appliances are upgraded stainless steel.The master bath has been fully remodeled with a beautiful all-tile shower and new quartz vanity and lighting. The guest bathroom has a new vanity with a quartz counter top as well.In five minutes, you can walk to one of the prettiest stretches of beach on the island. It is where the last lifeguard stand is located so you may join in on the fun up the beach or enjoy the less crowded beach below the Alder Lane access. The famous Hilton Head bike paths run in all four directions from our villa. There are excellent public facilities as you enter the beach boardwalk area so you may stay the day without returning to the villa. You may also walk or bike to restaurants and activities at Coligny Circle or you can be at the Sea Pines Ocean Gate in about 5 minutes! Welcome to Barefoot Villa, take your shoes off and relax. This unit was renovated with new flooring, paint and LED lighting throughout. The kitchen has been updated with new kitchen cabinets, butcher block countertops and tile backsplash as well as the addition of new stainless appliances and a dining peninsula. The bathroom was updated with a new vanity, toilet and all new decor. There are flat screen TVs in the living and bed rooms which are also furnished with new furniture, lamps, decor and ceiling fans. The truly unique addition to this unit are the bedroom and bathroom barn doors, this allows for a more spacious floorplan, not to mention how awesome they look. The resort is loaded with amenities which include the largest beachfront pool on the island, a second smaller and more private pool by Admiral’s Row, a Tiki bar (Jamacian Joes) and ice cream/snow cone stand conveniently located between the pool and the beach, several tennis courts, a playground and grilling area, 2 restaurants (CocoNutz Sports Bar & Gator’s Pizza & Wings), a gym, and laundry facilities located in each Ocean Villa building. It truly offers everything so you really don’t need to leave the resort. But just in case you do decide to explore, you can rent bikes at the resort just outside the security gate; this is the best way to explore the island and see the true charm of Hilton Head.Most of the island plantations offer guest passes for a small fee, so you can experience the unique feel of all the island areas. The Salty Dog Cafe in Sea Pines offers one of the best seafood dining experiences on the island; plus, you can visit the shops at the marina or sit and have a cold beverage at the outdoor bar while you wait to be seated. Kids love this area and can enjoy the playground or outdoor fire pit. Harbour Town in Sea Pines and Shelter Cove in Palmetto Dunes have restaurants which offer live music during the summer season. One of the islands favorites is Gregg Russell who plays live under the Liberty Oak in Harbour Town. There are several shops & restaurants located in both of these areas as well as at Coligny Plaza. Lawton Stables at Sea Pines offers horseback riding for a tour of the natural beauty of Hilton Head Island. Old Town Bluffton is only minutes away and offers some of the most unique artists shops and dining experiences. My personal favorites are some of the numerous breweries on island and off...and if you're a beer connoisseur, the samples are worth trying. The Burnt Church Distillery is another must see, there is a small museum, gift shop and sampling room which offers flights of local Lowcountry spirits.Another nearby activity, just off island, is the Pickney Island National Wildlife Refuge which offers several hiking and bike paths to bring you closer to the animals in their natural habitat. This is a 1 story flat on the second floor (and no one above you). The villa has been completely renovated for a relaxing beach getaway. Island House Management/HOA allows ONE dog per villa. We do not accept cats due to severe allergies. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Pet pricing is negotiable for guests staying only 2-3 nights. The Island House Villa complex is in the heart of Hilton Head Island with many conveniences within walking distance. We are just a ~10-minute walk to the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island to a more private area where it will tend to be less busy than a public beach. Celebration Park is a 5-minute walk across the street. You will also be greeted by a shopping plaza predominately to dine at. An extended walk will get you over to Coligny Plaza and the Coligny public Beach. At Coligny (great atmosphere!) you can find an assortment of shops and dining areas along with ice cream and souvenir shops. There's also a "golf-cart" service that frequently drives in the area that works on tips only. The family room is equipped with a 65-inch TV, ceiling fan, sofa, and two recliners.The Master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, and its own master bath with walk in shower. The Guest room has a queen and a twin bed that can accommodate up to three guests comfortably. It also has a ceiling fan. The second bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom.The dining area offers plenty of seating and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your long- or short-term stay. The gorgeous shores of Hilton Head are just a short walk. Biking is one of our favorite family activities. Bring your own bike or rent locally (free delivery) from across the way. Miles of trails will bring you hours of sightseeing and exercise throughout your stay. The island provides plenty of activities ranging from marine tours, aquatic adventures, fishing, golfing at its finest, shopping, and fine dining for all. Don’t forget those days’ trips off the island. Hilton Head Island is less than an hour away from the nostalgic areas of Savanah, GA and Charleston, SC. The pool & tennis courts are only steps away from the front door. There are many award winning golf courses located across the island. The villa offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, an eat in kitchen and a living room. Both bedrooms are furnished with queen sized beds. A queen size sleeper sofa can be found in the living room for additional sleeping space. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances and provides everything you need to feel at home when you are vacationing. Bath towels and bed linens are provided. Beach chairs and a cooler are available in the outdoor storage bin for guests to use during their stay. Please bring your own beach towels!Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire villa.
