The small details in the shower, where they put two conditioners and none of the gel, the lighting system is too modern that you spend a long time trying to turn the room lights on or off correctly, the bed and pillow are somewhat uncomfortable, the shower water in the evening is obviously not hot enough, and the price is totally exorbitant. This makes me think it's not at the level of a 4-star hotel; there are other 3-star hotels that are better equipped in every way.

This hotel, located in the heart of Vilafranca del Penedès, is striking for its design and decor. Housed in an old building, the façade of which has been preserved, the interior is absolutely modern, with thoughtful decor and high-quality materials. Dark wood and dark red curtains predominate, which in some places, such as the hallways on the upper floors, create a somewhat somber effect. The bathroom has a huge shower and very modern fixtures. The beds are comfortable. There is air conditioning. The lighting system is so sophisticated that it's difficult to understand. The television (Loewe, by the way) is on one side of the bed, an uncomfortable position. The carpeting in the hallways needs updating. Breakfast is served in a pleasant glass-enclosed dining room. It's not a buffet and includes only coffee and juice (not natural), toast, and pastries. There's no on-site parking, but there is a public parking lot (with electric car chargers) right in front, and they have a pre-paid rate of €23 per day. In short, a unique hotel experience and a good base for exploring Vilafranca del Penedés.
