Posthotel Lamm

I was here for one night on a bike trip and was very happy. The room was clean and big enough, I could put my bike in a storage room, and the staff were friendly. But the highlight is the breakfast, which was awesome! The hotel is located right in the city centre, very convenient.

Lovely bed, excellent breakfast and a delicious diner. Nice People who runs the Hotel. I come here for more than 30 years with my whole family of almost 65 People. It feeks like home every time we go there. It is in the Middleton of the centre of Sterzing and in 15 min ypu are at the Rosskopf.

Great hotel in the middle of historic Vipetino. Lovely city, full of unique buildings and worth more than the other overnight stay afforded by our schedule. The hotel is clean and comfortable , very friendly and helpful. Check out the small bar next to the municipal building across the street. Real character.

From the moment we arrived, we were looked after and made to feel comfortable. The room was a good size and tastefully refurbished,with a large bathroom and walk in closet. The food is excellent and the half board worth every penny. The evening meal is tasty and plentiful. It’s a beautiful town and the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the ski lift. In fact it was so good, we extended our stay. Thank you Hotel Lamm

Room was cold, they gave an electric heater that dried the air. Breakfast had No fresh fruits but all canned. Asked for an adapter and they told us to go and buy it by ourselves. I would not suggest the hotel for relaxing holidays but only for a stopover

Great location, right on the walking street and have free parking. Our room got balcony, modern window blinds with button like Hilton, and cloak room to put our coats, luggages and boots etc. , bathroom is large with bathtub. Only thing it was not provided like international hotels is water kettle and tea in the room. The hotel also has SPA but we did not try. Breakfast was good for Italian standard but quality of bread and cheese could improve. We got half board and dinner is very fine with options to choose. New year night meal was not only tasty but also platting was very well presented. Musicians from Austria Tyrol came for new year night dinner were very talented. Hotel located on the walking street very closed to other restaurants and cafes also shops and Christmas market. Only thing is it is a bit far from the cable car going up to RossKopf and parking is not easy if you come late but no problem for us as we drove there early before 10 am to make sure we get parking. Staff were very nice and pleasant. We also loved cookies in the lobby waiting for us when we came back from skiing or winter activities. We will definitely go there again.
