Hotel Blumen ★★★

"Mixed feelings. I’ll list the positives first, then the negatives so whoever reads this can make a decision. Positives • Location is beautiful — the hotel is practically on the beach. • The beach itself is wonderful and has no stones. Negatives • Food: Breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast opens at 7:30, but by 7:45 there were no eggs left. To get eggs, ham, cheese or bread you have to ask the staff to bring them out. There are two coffee machines but one is usually out of order, so it can take 7–10 minutes to get a coffee. Overall there was very little suitable for adults to eat — if you’re travelling with children (as we were), good luck. Dinner is from 19:30 to 20:00 - super late, no idea why. • Beach: You must pay for sunbeds and umbrellas; you cannot bring your own towels. If you don’t pay, there’s often nowhere to sit. Front row (two sunbeds + umbrella) was €35/day; last row (two sunbeds + umbrella) was €25/day. • Rooms: No fridge and no kettle. The TV, air conditioner, and heated towel rail in the bathroom were not working. The beds were not very comfortable. Walls between rooms are thin — you can hear everything. Our neighbours came back every night around 11–12 p.m., so getting any decent sleep was difficult. Cost We spent €1,600 on travel from Lithuania to Rimini and another €1,000 on food, drinks and local travel — €2,600 total for two adults and two children (6 and 1). For that amount of money, I don’t think it’s worth it. Other notes • Rimini is okay but nothing special. • San Marino is nearby and very beautiful — that’s probably the highlight of the trip. I hope this helps you decide whether it’s worth going."

"I can not say anything bad from this hotel. Location is great. Easy to find with GPS. Parking place until you check in/out than you have the possibility to park in a closed parking place. 300 m away, but it is completely ok for me, until my car is in a safe place. Staff is super nice and friendly. 10/10 Room is exactly as it is on booking photos, no cheating there. Enough space, clean, comfy bed, perfect air conditioning. Fridge, big tv, enough socket to charge your devices, properly working wifi. Bathroom is spacey, well-sized shower. 10/10 Breakfast perfect for children and adults. 10/10"

"Many thanks to Martina, her mother and grandmother for the wonderful service and care. We felt very comfortable in this hotel. Excellent breakfast, homemade cakes and waffles, amazing! The beach was a 3-minute walk from the hotel, parking in the yard next to the hotel. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Rimini. Highly recommended!"

Hotel LaMorosa ★★★

"Lovely visit to the hotel. Hotel is clean, comfortable and great beach views. Staff are incredibly friendly- as they helped us to book a meal at a yummy local restaurant (Old American) and sorted us out with printing our flight boarding passes off. Breakfast was yummy, with a great selection of options. Loved the multicoloured lights in the bathroom above the shower. Great added feature. Only downside to our stay, was lots of building works happening and not much open- presumably because this is out of season for Rimini. The bus route (4) was also partially running, which meant about a 15 minute walk to the bus stop- rather than stopping directly outside the hotel- wouldn’t have usually been a problem but with a very stubborn toddler, it wasn’t much fun! However, along the beach front, there were multiple play areas- so fortunately that kept us going. I think once the beach works have been completed, it will look lovely! We are thinking about booking again for the summer. We did find a local train station for Rimini Versba, typically on our last day, which is closer to the hotel and more accessible to places. We ate at a lovely little burger place too on our first night, as we needed something quick and easier. It was called Chef Burger, great value for money and the best burger we’ve ever had!"

"The apartment is spacious, clean and well organized. It has two terraces, very convenient for hanging out and storing beach equipment. The location is good, a few dozen meters from the sea. Good value for money. Staff always available and courteous."
