Great budget hotel. Old fashioned but immaculately clean and very well maintained both inside and in the lovely grounds. Slept well, not noisy at all (we had the furthest away room in section C facing the front) lots of stairs without lift access which wasn't a problem for us but may be for others, especially with heavy luggage. Half board option included self service beer/wine/soft drink at dinner, bonus! Food is adequate, I never have huge expectations tbh. If it's luxury you want book elsewhere but for a clean, comfortable, affordable stay close to everything then I'd highly recommend. It's a beautiful area, not many English accents heard which gives it a totally different vibe from yr typical Spanish resort type holiday. Loved it.

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in! In Istra Plava Laguna (Zelena laguna 12, 52440, Poreč, Croatia). This vacation day was completely ruined due to the disgusting rudeness and indecency of the security guard in the restaurant hall, who is standing at the entrance. Instead of helping and supporting the guests, this employee was unacceptably aggressive and unprofessional. Moreover, after contacting the administrator, he grinned and did not even try to apologize normally. This approach to work is absolutely unacceptable, especially in the hotel industry. We absolutely do not recommend this hotel! Rude people have no place in working with people, especially in such position!

We are from Hungary. It’s been a great holiday! The staff were kind, the food was better than I expected and we had a great time there. We were on a 7 day holiday as a family. Unfortunately the escalator didn’t work, so we had to use the stairs with our so many package. The best part was the shows at night. Because in that bay all of the hotels is one company, they organised show like: kid show, rock concert and sport competition, and they were very very great. That was my favorite activity.

We are here for the dance competition and we thought that this would be a time for the hotel to give good service as repeat business makes sense. Hotel rooms are basic and the daily cleaning is so basic your lucky if they take the time to clean the floor. Day 7 bedding was changed and lucky you get your old towels daily changed. Food is terrible and tasteless mass production and lack of variety. Plain pasta was the best item we ate. Vegies were bitter and old. Sad that the hotel doesn't try as they are only a basic 3 star.

Will start with the bad things first. 1. The bathrooms are ridiculously small. We had to climb over the toilet to get into the shower. In the showers I lost count of how many times I hit the temp switch by mistake and either got a nice hot burst or cold. 2. Not big enough for guests. When busy not enough space in pool or in dinning area. But dinning area was rare that not alot of space. 3. We were only English people in hotel. For us it's fine but for others may not be. Also watch out for sea gulls. 4. Very grumpy restaurant staff. Not all but some of the staff In restaurant really grumpy. Unless they see croatian children then they are all over them. I saw one staff member hugging and kissing a random croatian child. But other people don't really have time of day for. So the good stuff, this is a very clean hotel. The cleaners work really really hard and are not grumpy. Along with reception staff. Very friendly. They smile. That's does help restaurant staff. Quiet location. Superb food. Very good choice. Croatian night is very good. Clean pool. Comfortable bed. Clean towels. The entertainment doesn't happen. If your after animation team then this isn't there. There's a shared kids club but any entertainment you have to pay for. Eg water sports etc.... The complex is a long way from any thing. It's a 45 to a hour walk to porec. But there is a tourist train that goes regularly, price 20 each. Evening entertainment again not consistent. Nothing Fri, Sat or Sun. Band on Thursday and cinema Tuesday, plus something mon and Wednesday but this is on the beach not in hotel and there are 5 or so other hotels that share this bit. Plenty of tennis, hardest crazy gold course ever, table tennis and water sport. Pebble beaches around sea but plenty of grass areas but be careful plenty of ants too. Beach volley ball courts but nothing organised except Tuesday evening, but again 5 other hotels playing too. Big water skiing area that looked popular. Lots of restaurants if you fancy a change, plus a bar that shows football games. There's a gym at the leisure centre past the tennis courts. Bloke charged me 200 about 20 pounds for 2 weeks. Please note some places do not accept card, ie the train etc. Bring extra with you. Overall we really enjoyed croatia. The hotel isn't bad, the bathrooms and some restaurant staff being grumpy are really only annoying things. You will have nice time here but do not expect all singing dancing.

We stayed at this hotel and I must say that there are several aspects to improve/take into consideration for the stay: - room bathroom: saying that it is small is almost a joke. There is no room to turn around and the dark tiles and poor lighting make everything more claustrophobic. - beach towels: in the rooms without a balcony there is no space (other than a paltry parapet) to spread them out after a day at the beach. Is it possible that they didn't think of (and install) retractable drying racks?? - bed: low, hard mattress (which is ok for me but certainly not for everyone) and shapeless pillows that feel like sleeping with a sweatshirt rolled up under your head - kitchen: the breakfast/dinner experience brings to mind the school canteen where, in addition to the crowd (the space is actually a bit small to accommodate everyone), there is also mediocre food (several choices but always of poor quality) as well as the waiters (some very nice and kind) who go around the tables with trolleys that are more a danger than anything else. But do as in all hotels, that is, put the waste bin in the center of the table and move on to redo the table once finished? Furthermore, the kitchen staff, in addition to taking little care of the food (poured into the tubs), couldn't even answer a question about a sauce (what if I was allergic?? Well) - swimming pool: nice (even if from the photos it seems double the reality) and a little crowded except in the late afternoon - room cleaning: summary and not very attentive (the bin was emptied on the second day) and the dust was vacuumed on the third. The team was probably understaffed. The only positive note is the location of the complex (8 hotels, I think this is the most "basic" + 2 huge campsites) really large and well kept/clean and its proximity to the sea (different options from small beaches or terraces or lawn). In short, if they were to ask me if I would go back: thanks but NO thanks

The bathroom is very small and without a bidet, terrible cuisine for both breakfast and dinner, little variety. Rude staff. The hotel does not have an elevator. The room is cleaned very late, there is no safe.
