"Like the title suggests, we had a pretty ‘average’ (at best) stay here… We had booked a room on Secret Escapes so instead of being over £300 a night half board we paid around £175 a night which, to be honest, is still too much in my opinion… The room is OK, no frills despite being a ‘superior double’ (with a sea view). We were on the 8th floor so did get a decent sea view and the balcony was big but seating uncomfortable with basic chairs and a small table rather than loungers. The infinity pool on the 9th floor looked nice but was very cold. The main pool was ok with plenty of seating and loungers and not busy at all when we stayed in early June. Breakfast was pretty good with everything you would imagine including cereals / pancakes / waffles / cooked food / cakes / cheese etc etc. Staff were typically not particularly friendly we found (except Bruno in the restaurant who definitely was (and funny). The dining room lacks any kind of atmosphere and generally the dinner each night was pretty underwhelming / mediocre / not the hottest / a fairly joyless experience. Oh, and we asked for an iron to borrow and were told they don’t have any to lend and we’d have to use their very expensive laundry service… what sort of hotel doesn’t provide an iron! This could be a good hotel but they need to focus on the service and the services provided!"

For dinner recommended the historic Galbiani Restaurant & Wine Bar in historic Sibenik, where we enjoyed very much. Room spotless clean and well maintained, including a large balcony, and the swimming pool including the beachfront. Good Internet service which was very important to me. "Very poor quality hotel, would say at the most a 2 star, no way is it 4 star. The facilities are basic, there were stains on carpets, stains on chairs in reception area and in the outside bar area; mould in the shower area. We were breakfast and dinner, very limited choice, buffet sat outside, uncovered. Regularly ran out of items at breakfast. Vodice is nice but would not recommend this hotel."
