We very much enjoyed our stay at the Meli Palace. We have never been to a Hotel where the staff are so friendly and efficient and we travel extensively Hotel and grounds are very well maintained with staff cleaning all the time and is situated right on its own sandy beach Food was good with lots of of Greek options rather than all international cuisine which most Hotels seem to do now We would like to thank the following staff members who were so friendly and gave us exceptional service, Christos beach bar, Katrina and Nikos beach and main bar and also our wonderful cleaner who we didn’t catch her name

We spend wonderful time with friends in Grecotel Meli Palace! Hotel has nice, cozy territory. We enjoyed Mediterranean cuisine, nice cocktails and great atmosphere! The stuff is amazing, helpful and ready to help. Maria in the restaurant is very welcoming and friendly. Anna at the reception is ready to answer all the questions, is able to give advice what to visit. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel for holidays!

I have been to Sissi so many times since 2004 and first stay at the Meli Palace. We were a group of 7 but one of the party members had to fly back after 3 days. The hotel is 30 minutes walk to Sissi or 5 minutes taxi ride which is 7.50 euro. Malia is 10 mins taxi ride 20 euro. Our stay was pleasant despite the weather not being great. Evenings were quite cold. Mornings started well but turned cloudy later on. Mixed clientele from Germany, England, Holland , France , Ukraine etc. Hotel and grounds are nice and very well kept. Hotel was very clean. The staff are obsessed with cleaning the glass doors and surfaces! They just love cleaning the glass doors! All the staff were very friendly and respectful at the same time. Food was nice and varied. Rooms are cleaned everyday and towels changed. Entertainment team members were great . Especially, Frederico. A great, young chap. Night time music is fine but the singer should choose some more happy songs as not everyone wants a miserable holiday!! You can clearly see that hotel is very well managed as the hotel manager is always around day and night checking everything. Rooms need updating yet very clean. I would recommend to anyone who wants a stress free, pleasant holiday.

Very nice hotel. The bar, reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpfull during the entire stay. The food was good and different each day. However the entertainment could be better. The head of the entertainment was new and it seemed like he did not know how to do the job. When i tried to talk to him about it, he got angry and told me to go away. He was not open to any kind of conversation about this and kept being rude and telling me to leave. He made more guests oncomfortabel with the way he treated the staff. The entertainment staff switched a lot between hotels during our stay but Lucas was there the whole time and did a really good job.

We were very unlucky with the weather. The food was very good especially the Greek food. Rosemary on reception was very helpful. Anna who runs the shop was very helpful and friendly. My daughter and I were extremely disappointed when the fire alarm went off one morning at 5am. We were the only guests who actually went to the muster point! After consulting a senior manager at the hotel, we were told that other guests phoned reception!!! Bearing in mind the only information in the room was the instructions on the back of the door telling you what to do if the fire alarm goes off!! There weren't even any instructions on the phone!!! The daytime and evening entertainment was virtually non existent. We love Crete but probably wouldn't go to this hotel again. Especially not at the very start of the season. Apart from Rosemary on reception, Maria in the restaurant and one or two other members of staff, the rest were new to the hotel!! The team that cleaned the rooms were very good.

Amazing experience, perfect location and best personel i've met ! The pools for both adults and vhildrens, any locations you want tostay,couches chill zones, beach,spa,even hotel have its own mini market, so you can buy everything you need :)

I stayed in this hotel for a week, they were intense and unforgettable days, the staff was friendly and always available to the various requests of the guests, the organization and cleanliness of the rooms at high levels, and as for the entertainment nothing to complain about, they transmitted smiles to everyone every day, the head entertainer is doing his job to the best of his ability, with his determination, friendliness and professionalism he is committed to making others feel in the right place, and he does nothing but demonstrate it by following his boys step by step, a wonderful team!

Great hotel, very pretty sunsets!!! The food is very good. The rooms are a bit dated, but the facilities are great. The entertainment is great. The head entertainer is very friendly and takes good care of his team; he does everything he can to make the guests feel good. Great vacation, we'll be back!
