The Swan Hotel

I stayed for 1 night on business and it served it's purpose. The welcome was warm enough and the room was clean and had all the expected amenities. However the very small TV did not work and they did not serve breakfast until 09:30. Tasty food in the restaurant.

After visiting The Ship Inn on a number of occasions last year, we joined their loyalty scheme as food and hospitality were excellent! We decided to visit The Swan Hotel an allied pub operating this loyalty scheme. Upon entering, a woman I assumed to be in charge, was assisting an e.ployee with an order. My partner took a seat and I gave her a menu. Meanwhile I waited patiently at the bar. This woman was helping to serve a couple. At no stage did she speak to me to offer a note of acknowledgement, or say "be with you in a minute" We waited to be asked for our order for a good 10 mins. Nothing was forthcoming, we were made to feel invisible!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED after all the hype we received following our joining the hospitality scheme.

We visited here for breakfast when visiting Wadebridge recently. We ordered pancakes for our 5 year old. I had a full English breakfast. The food was really tasty. You can tell the ingredients were fresh, the mushrooms were delicious. The price was on point to the portion sizes and standards. Can’t wait to go back and try the lunch menu next time.

Had an incredible meal at The Swan Inn on 17th August for a last minute late decision for my wife's birthday. We both ordered lasagne which were so so tasty! And some chips which were delicious too. It was late so we were thrilled to find they were still cooking. The best part was Mark who spent time talking to us, making us laugh and feel comfortable. He's a real credit to the place. We'll be back! Highly recommend trying it.

Decided to book a stay after eating and spending time there on our last visit to Wadebridge. Family room- double bed and bunkbeds with en-suite bathroom with bath with shower over. Room spacious, with plenty of storage, tea, coffee, hot chocolate sachets and biscuits all good quality. Maybe a little tired but comfortable. Whether you are staying there or not, everyone should try the food. All local produce, homemade and absolutely delicious. Staff friendly and welcoming, great atmosphere. Plus as you're in the town, great to get to places and we walked up the road to get the bus to Padstow. No parking, but enough carparks near.

Excellent surroundings...Great food.... Wonderful friendly Staff. Especially Zoe who always greets you with a welcoming Smile. Fantastic service... Great Menu. Good value for money... A very good reward scheme... Highly recomend if you are in the area....
