Good hotel in the upper part of Petra. Clean rooms. Good breakfast and possibility to have a packed lunch. Roof Top with city view.

Really nice roof top bar with a fantastic view over the Wadi Musa, but pricey, 2 JD for a tea made with a tea bag. And as a hotel guest you’re expected to order if you sit there. Rooms have seen better days, a noisy road outside, worn down and most power outlets don’t work, but cleaning was fine and service too, even though one morning we’d arranged with them to start breakfast 15 min. early, we were there but had to wake them up…. Breakfast is ok. No problems parking next to the hotel and WiFi works. The roof top will be the reason for choosing this place.

We really recommend this hotel, I’ve been 3 times and never disappointed. The atmosphere is very special, the roof and the views are magic, you can feel the intensity of Petra from the top. Ibrahim has been always very helpful with us, many of my friends have been in the hotel as well and they’re super satisfied 💛 This is the best example of how to have a GOOD business in hotel industry

Ata Ali is a great option for people that are not looking to come to Petra to spend their day in the hotel but explore the lost city. The entrance to petra is a short taxi drive away. We came in pretty late and the staff was very flexible and responsive (also over whatsapp) which really helps and alleviates some pressure. The hotel is pretty fair with clean showers and bedrooms. Great value for money. The reason I will go there again is because of their amazing rooftop that you can relax on after your busy exploration in petra. The owner “Ibrahim” was there himself one night drinking morrocan tea with us. Very nice atmosphere that night.

Very cozy hotel in the center of Petra. Wonderful view from the roof. The restaurant in the hotel offers traditional food, and its a really very delicious food. The staff in the hotel was very helpful and friendly.
