Hotel Avalorm Kinokuni

The hotel boasts a good location, being very close to Wakayama Castle. We stayed in a Japanese-style room, which was clean and pleasant. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. However, the Wi-Fi was extremely poor, and some facilities felt a bit dated. It's acceptable for a short stay of one or two nights, but I wouldn't recommend it for extended periods due to the poor value for money.

The room was spotless. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it offered great value for money.

The breakfast was excellent, featuring local specialties such as 'wax-fire grilled fish'. It's a popular choice among many Japanese guests.

There aren't many restaurants near the hotel, but it's a few minutes' drive from a nearby shopping mall, which is quite convenient and suitable for travelers with cars. The hotel has its own parking lot with very convenient parking spaces and very affordable parking fees. The hotel staff are very friendly, the rooms are nice, clean and tidy, and the restaurant's buffet breakfast has a wide variety of choices. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and is worth recommending.

Very good, with Japanese and Western options. Clean and tidy, the price is very cost-effective. Taxi fare from JR station is 50 USD, suitable for short trips and transfers. The restaurant on the first floor also looks delicious

It was a cheap hotel, but it was very clean and nice. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the water pressure in the shower was weak and that the parking fee was 500 yen. Other than that, it was very nice and there was a coin laundry facility☺️
