Beachfront apartments that absolute waterfront. The accommodation is so tasteful and appealing for a beachfront property, with comfy outdoor furniture and access to the beach only five steps away. Beds were comfortable, kitchen available for cooking and several restaurants close by.. easy to walk to. Came over on the Mapua Ferry as we were doing the Great Taste Trail on e-bikes. All organised by Kiwi Journeys. Loved this place .. would be a perfect spot for a family holiday!

The Mapua Wharfside Apartment are supberb. I definitely recommend this place for couples or groups. Lovely, clean spacious and well equipped apartments right on the edge of the sea at Mapua. An absolutely gorgeous locations and a short amble to all the lovely restaurants and shops around the Mapua Wharf area. We stayed here while biking the Great Taste Trail and it is next to the area where you catch the boat over to Rabbit Island. Infact you can sit on the deck and watch the little boat making it's way across to the Island. This place is pure magic and the people who run it are really nice, nothing is too much trouble and they have great local knowledge. It is very reasonably priced and is one of the best places we have stayed in NZ, and we have stayed in many places.

What a wonderful place to stay! Great view of all the goings on in the estuary and nearby cafes and bars which are very accessable nearby. Our apartment was very roomy, comfortable and well appointed. Everything is there that you could need including a washing machine and iron. Big thanks to our lovely and helpful host Michelle, especially for looking after us for our 2nd night stay. Highly recommended and we will be back at the nearest opportunity.

We haven’t actually stayed at Wharfside apartments. But we have been booked to stay there. Due to a range of circumstances out of our control, we have had to slide our booking, and then sadly to cancel it. Due to a situation which is terribly sad. Michelle at Wharfside apartments has shown such empathy, and such great management. We will be up to stay here at Mapua Apartments as soon as we are able.
