B&B HOTEL Willingen ★★★
"Clean!"
Hotel Goldflair am Rathaus ★★★
"Very hearty competent reception, also pre-info on the phone. Hotel restaurant despite sick colleagues super service, food very delicious, breakfast rich, as promised. A very beautiful hotel, which has allowed us a very nice weekend. We are happy to come back."
Hotel Freund - Privathotels Dr Lohbeck ★★★★
"We (my hubby and my mom) stayed the last 2 weeks in May in this hotel. I had booked it because I needed an indoor swimming pool for my mom which is her highlight of the year. We loved our stay. The rooms (1 double 1 single) were clean, nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choices. Swimmingpool was great and we had the chance on 3 days to also use the Saunas which we loved. We did not book the half board as I prefer to try different restaurants and cuisines rather than eating at the same place all the time. We ended up eating a la carte at the hotel quite often. The food was good with the exception of 1 dish on 1 day. The hotel is very quiet and the surrounding invites to hiking tours which we did. The staff is lovely and helpful. Be prepared there is nothing in the village or close by in case you want shops or restaurants or discos etc. It is in the middle of nowhere so to speak. But shops or other restaurants or smaller cities are just 20-30min away and so is the Edersee in case you want to take a boat ride. If you have a car there is plenty to explore. I would love to come back one day to enjoy and join the yoga and horseback riding. This time the vacation was solely for my mom and to spend quality time with her and walking in fresh air in nature."
Göbel`s Hotel Quellenhof ★★★★
"The building is European-style, and the facilities are quite good. The breakfast was plentiful. We were given a room with a balcony, which was a great experience. It's close to a rehabilitation center and there are also some small shops nearby. Parking is very convenient."
Pension Robin Hood ★★★
Best Western Plus Hotel Willingen ★★★★
"In the centre of Willingen. All at walking distance. Hotel superbly clean. Beautiful rooms, good beds. Perfect shower. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Sufficient parking opportunity. No improvements."
Villa C&C ★★★
Hotel am Dalwigker Tor ★★★
Mountain View Hotel Willingen, BW Signature Collection ★★★
"The hotel is very modern, but unfortunately the service is abysmal, and the reception is truly awful. We've been Best Western customers for a long time and have stayed at the Best Western Brauhaus many times. Unfortunately, it's no comparison and simply bad! More like a hostel than a hotel. Our rooms weren't even prepared, let alone clean. Please work on your service; Best Western is supposed to be different."

Berghotel Waidmannsheil
"Unbelievable, I can't understand how this "hotel" can have such good reviews. As long as you don't criticize, the owners are probably nice, but I wanted to show the owner (after a 7 hour drive) the mold in the single room and was told that he had a grill to cook, he couldn't do it right now but it was definitely not that bad... After I wanted to receive confirmation of my cancellation, the owner suddenly had time, but not to check the room, but to angrily show me a construction site in another wing of the hotel where the mold is being removed. I don't understand why I should see that. The fact is that it is a health hazard and will be reported to the relevant authority. The photos are from February 19, 2024."
Urlaubs- Und Wellnesshotel Friederike
"The hotel was very nice and the rooms were spacious and the swimming pool+ sauna was very well maintained and pleasant. I regret that my daughter's bed was not prepared in advance and we had to ask for a dress for her several times. For half-pension, I regret that there is no more child-satisfactory food, and the last day, my hard daughter, I must admit, has only eaten cruelties and croquets."
Ringhotel Roggenland
"Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the wonderful swimming pool complex with a view to the castle, to the knowledgeable and friendly serving staff, breakfast to die for – so much choice and quality, wonderful evening meals, a fantastic location. One could tell it was a well-run hotel with trained staff. We enjoyed the first three days of our German holiday there, and wished we had booked longer – thou our waistlines probably said not! At 178 Euros for B & B it’s not cheap, but very worthwhile. The Edersee area is worth visiting. We’d love to return."
Hotel Seeschlößchen
Bio-Hotel Upländer Hof
Sporthotel Zum Hohen Eimberg
Hotel Hochheide
Göbels Landhotel
"A location worthy of Germany with nice staff and a restaurant ready for instagram photos. The town is like as to welcome tourists. If you stay at this hotel, don't worry about parking because the hotel has numerous spots including parking for charging electric cars."
Altes Doktorhaus - Hotel Garni
"A very central location, however quietly located, rooms clean and generously cut. Very recommendable. We are happy to come back."
Hotel Brunnenhaus Schloss Landau
"We had made a reservation in advance and clearly indicated our arrival at 11:00 PM when booking. We received no response from the hotel indicating this would be a problem, so we assumed it would be possible. We drove 7 hours from Prague with a 4-month-old baby. Upon arrival around 11:00 PM, no one was there. No door had been opened, no code had been left, no instructions, no way to contact us. We stood outside in the dark, with a crying baby, and no idea what to do. This is extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. If late check-in wasn't possible, it should have been clearly communicated. There was no empathy or support whatsoever. This hotel is absolutely NOT recommended—especially if you're traveling with a child or rely on clear communication. We will never return."
Landhotel Henkenhof Willingen
Hotel Central
"The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable."
Sauerland Stern Hotel
"Few weeks ago we are staying at Sauerland Stern Hotel. We want to describe our experience just with one word : Fantastic ! We found this hotel just by random searching through the google map. We were looking for a hotel close to the ski piste. Sauerland Stern Hotel was at walking distance. During our stay there was a child playground, they called it : Kinder-Eldorado. This was perfect indoor playground. After ski our daughter cannot wait to run to the Kinder-Eldorado. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and the view was good. Good breakfast. We are looking forward to our next stay at Sauerland Stern hotel."
Hotel Garni Belvedere, Das Bio Hotel & SuiteHotel am Ederse
Vis á Vis Parkhotel
"Disappointing experience in this hotel, regretfully. I booked an apartment, presented as a space accommodating 3-5 people. Actually it was for 2 people and a small child, as the coach was not extendable. Additionally, the bed for the child was in a space not suitable for sleeping or living, less than 4 sqm, with no natural light and a window opening next to a wall, absolutely impossible to get air in and claustrophobic. I asked for another option to no avail, although the hotel was almost empty. On our way to the hotel we got a message saying that they do not serve dinner the next day - to be correct, they offered us the possibility to cancel for free, however our plans were already made and we were on our way. It should have been mentioned on the booking page… Furniture old, well maintained but somehow creepy, with part of the dressing above the night table and next to the bed (I was constantly afraid that I could knock my head when getting up. Bed was not comfortable, and pillows even less. Not the standard of a 4star hotel - for instance not possible to make coffee or tea in the room. The hotel borrowed us a kettle, - but I was shocked to find out at the check out that I had actually to pay the 5 eur for loaning the kettle! The people were nice, doing their job. Food was ok, many options, but at times either too salty or not salty enough. We waited more than 30 min for fried eggs and omelette, and we had to remind the waiter about our order - albeit we were the only clients in the restaurant. Will not go back!"
