Centrally located boutique hotel in the centre of Muldorf am inn with a lift. Sparkling clean comfortable rooms. Attentive and friendly staff make you feel very welcome. Very fresh home cooked breakfast, meat, cheese and cakes ideal for short visits to Bavaria.

Kleineres und sehr feines Hotel. Ein tolles Team, super-freundlich, engagiert (die Angestellten backen tatsächlich frischen Kuchen für's Frühstück) - dazu eine ruhige Terrasse mit kleiner Bar nach hinten raus. Zimmer sind sauber und toll inn Schuss. Perfekte Logis.

Seit vielen Jahren komme ich meist geschäftlich nach Mühldorf am Inn und übernachte wenn möglich im Altstadthotel Wetzel. Weil ich gerade eine Bewertung für das indische Restaurant Maharani verfasst habe, ist mir aufgefallen, dass eine Bewertung vom "Wetzel" längst überfällig ist. Es ist ein Hotel, auf das ich mich immer wieder freue, sehr gutes Frühstück, bequeme Betten, alles picobello sauber und ein freundliches, herzliches Team. Das Wetzel ist sehr gut am Stadtplatz gelegen. Alle Restaurants in der Innenstadt sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Es ist seit den ganzen Jahren mein Favorit. Wenn ich mir heute überlege, welches Hotel, dass ich die Jahre über besucht habe mein persönliches Wohlfühlhotel ist, dann ist es eindeutig das Wetzel. Wenn möglich begleitet mich meine Frau nach Mühldorf und Sie sieht es ganz genauso. Danke an das Team für die vielen schönen Aufenthalte, Thomas@Vera Bitzenhofer

Die Mühldorfer Sommerakademie gibt es seit dem Jahr 2003, als das Meisterkursangebot von Prof. Jürgen Geise vom Salzburger Mozarteum gemeinsam mit dem Leiter der Städtischen Musikschule Mühldorf, Thomas Breitsameter, aus der Taufe gehoben wurde. Das Mühldorfer Meisterkursangebot findet mittlerweile internationale Beachtung und wird von jungen Musikern, Musikstudenten und ambitionierten Amateuren gleichermaßen als Plattform und Podium zur künstlerischen und musikalischen Weiterbildung und zum gegenseitigen Kennenlernen genutzt. Jedes Jahr kommen 30 und 40 Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa und Asien nach Mühldorf und erarbeiten dort mit ausgewählten Dozenten anspruchsvolle Musikwerke. Seit vielen Jahren sind unsere international bekannten Dozenten im Altstadthotel untergebracht und finden dort eine optimale, zentral gelegene Übernachtungsmöglichkeit vor, die die Basis für einen optimal verlaufenden Meisterkurs darstellt. Der besondere Dank des Organisationsteams der Mühldorfer Sommerakademie gilt daher dem Hotelteam und Sabine Lechner!

wir hatten ein gehobenes Zimmer im hinten gelegenen Gebäudeteil gebucht. Das war sehr schön groß und ruhig. Empfehlenswert! Von dem Hotel aus ist man buchstäblich in Minuten im sehr lebendigen Zentrum der Altstadt.

Soggiorno di una sola notte per lavoro, ma molto soddisfatto per la cortesia della signora che mi ha accolto (mi ha anche aiutato a prenotare il ristorante per la cena) e per il comfort della struttura. Stanza fresca nonostante la stagione molto calda, letto comodo, ottimo Wi-Fi, colazione adeguata, parcheggio privato gratuito. Solo il bagno è un po' troppo piccolo.
