Walpole Rest Point Caravan Park Reviews

This room is located within a scenic lakeside campsite. Despite being busy, it was surprisingly quiet at night, which I attribute to the considerate guests who mostly respected the 'quiet after 9 PM' rule. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped and practical.

Received quite a spacious villa. Amenities is slightly dated and we saw some flies in our villa. Walpole is a small town that has little restaurant options. When we were there, there was only 1 restaurant open..

Room by the river with a beautiful view.

Just 5 mins from town with fishing and golf on the doorstep. Staff were welcoming and unit was amazing. Would have liked blackout curtains in bedroom but everything else was brilliant.

This was a beautiful stay. It is right in the water and it glistens. Plenty of fun families and couples in their campers. There were swans and Kangaroos too!! The room was more like an apartment than hotel room with a full kitchen.

The staff are very friendly. The environment is excellent. Facilities are OK like the jumping pillow. Cleaning in the surrounding environment is great. However, the maintenance and the cleanliness of the room were poor (i.e. long hairs can be found around the table and the bed, I wonder if they changed the bedsheet or cleaned the table with the same cloth).

The park environment is fantastic! Besides big trees, a beautiful boardwalk, and a dock where you can take a boat directly, there's even a huge inflatable trampoline that adults and kids alike can enjoy – it's so relaxing! The environment is superb, with lots of water birds. This inner lake is actually directly connected to the open sea, so you can go boating out to sea. The rooms are a bit basic, but they're clean, and the shower water is fine. Kitchenware is provided, but you should definitely bring your own food; there's no restaurant, just a small shop selling popsicles and cookies.

A place worth visiting again! In the morning, you can see kangaroos and toucans leisurely roaming around! It's a pity it was raining, otherwise the sunset would definitely be stunning! The kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator.

The large Golf unit had everything you need for a stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. Friendly staff! In front of the cottage, there's a dock in the water where pelicans sit in the morning.
