Belle Vue Guest House

Stayed in the Belle Vue for 4 nits BB wee have stayed in lots off BBs but without doubt this is the best we have ever stayed the owner Martyn could not do enough for us .Also never seen a BB with a pool it’s the breakfast was fantastic nothing too much bother for Martyn. located in a beautiful little village called Denver a 20 minute walk to Downham Market also have Ely and Sandringham an easy drive away Went to Ely was beautiful city cathedral was fantastic. The rooms in the Belle Vue are all themed every one was different and spacious only small request would be to have a small fridge in room The Belle Vue has to be a 5 star BB Will definitely recommend staying there also hope to return sometime in the future once again thanks Martyn for your excellent hospitality

Recently returned from a lovely stay at the Belle Vue. We were in the Sandringham room which is lovely. Large shower, lovely decor. Great breakfast which is cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble. Location in a quiet village provides a very relaxing stay.

We came from America to visit family and didn’t know where to stay. This little B&B did not disappoint. We were welcomed with a smile and full detail of the house and areas around to visit. The breakfast has been so delicious. Very comfortable bed and pillows. If we ever come back here, this is where we would stay again. Great job Martin.

I chose the Belle Vue as I always try to support independent businesses and indeed like to stay in a building with Character. I was really impressed with the building and what the owners have achieved, it's beautiful and been tastefully decorated thru'out. Would I, if in the area stay there again, absolutely, parking is off road and easy accessed, the rooms fresh, contemporary and have everything you need, bed.... extremely comfortable. Breakfast this morning was easy, most pleasant and had enough options to keep all happy. Thankyou for a great stay, I hope to be in the area once again in the future, as I'll be sure to look you up.

My family and I stayed at the Belle Vue Guest House in 2 rooms. We had a perfect stay, from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The guest house has been beautifully and sensitively renovated, however the rooms have a modern style, super clean and have everything you need. There are some fabulous touches like an honesty bar and a great terrace to sit out on at the end of the day. I can highly recommend the breakfast, there's everything you want and if it's not on the menu Martyn will sort it... I can't recommend the Belle Vue highly enough.

From the minute you walk through the door the splendour of this house grabs you, beautifully restored and decorated to a very high standard throughout. I stayed in the Sandringham, a very spacious and tastefully decorated room, with quality bedding and top quality en-suite. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better after a fabulous nights sleep, the breakfast was top quality. I opted for fresh fruit salad & Greek yoghurt to start & was presented with a well presented selection of freshly prepared very fresh. Next I requested poached eggs, bacon & mushrooms - as a former chef, I can tell you the poached eggs were perfect & the bacon was very good quality bacon - all washed down with a cafetière of fresh coffee & orange juice. 11/10 all round!
