Dungarvon Street Apartments

Our extended family of eight adults spent a comfortable, delightful week in one of the excellent four-bedroom apartments in Dungarvon Street. As we were four couples, I was attracted by the advertised four bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom. When we arrived, I was blown away by the large size of each bedroom and the lovely, stylish finish in the bathrooms and the kitchen. We had a huge balcony and awesome views of the snow-capped mountains. I could have just stayed in the delightful apartment for the whole week. However, venturing out was so simple: a short stroll took us to the lake, restaurants and pubs, the brilliant Cinema Paradiso, and the numerous food trucks in the surrounding streets. This is a perfect place for a large group to stay in Wanaka. Booking was easy and staff friendly and communicative. Highly recommended.

The property was large, clean and spacious. But there were issues. The air-conditioning remote was lost and we couldn't get the a/c to work properly and my son got so hot we had to move his bed into the living area. Also, the apartment advertised access to an indoor pool but this was not communicated on check in or at the apartment, so not sure if this was real or not. Luckily the weather was nice and kids swam in the lake.
