The hotel was very nice and staff very friendly They upgraded my room upon arrival. Breakfast was great. There was 2-3 restaurants in the resort area to choose from and food was good, plus served nicely. However hotel was a little far from beach and other services, around 4-5km. And no good public pool for swimming either.

Overall, the room is pretty good, clean and tidy. We have a sea view room with an invincible view. The butler is also okay and responsive. But Riyue Bay is not as good as other places in Wanning, such as Shimei Bay and Shenzhou Peninsula. You have to take a shuttle or drive to the beach. The surfing experience is really good. There are individual karaoke areas at night. The things on the island are expensive and expensive. Unpalatable, some unfinished projects also affect the experience, and the roads are congested. In fact, there is really nothing worth visiting except for the good surfing experience.

Excellent location across from the surfing beach and Shaka Surf (where you can get lessons from beginners upwards). The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is spotless. Rooms are washed each day and fresh linen is provided daily. Breakfast is generous but more suited to local tastes. Fruit, eggs, noodles, and coffee is available also but only at breakfast time which is a pity. Rooms come with a kettle but bring your own coffee/milk if you need caffeine. Staff are really friendly and helpful though and the general feel is relaxed and welcoming. Cable tv is provided and a/c and fans are in rooms, as well as small balcony for drying wet swim clothes. Lots of food options nearby including a supermarket if you prefer noodles at home.

The best part of our Hainan trip by FAR! Amazing beach and sunset bar, and the buffet breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in China. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and make it a pleasure being there. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for a great experience.

Fantastic stay at The WESTIN. We came off-season and it was very quiet however service was on point and the staff super efficient, all restaurants opened and all activities available. The kids club is very clean and great for babies to just stroll around. Butler Revan did everything for us to spend a perfect stay with our 8mo old baby, upgraded us to the most beautiful Ocean view and got us beautiful cars with baby car seat for our car travels. Breakfast have a lot of western/Chinese options, super fresh and variations in the menu everyday so it’s not boring. The beach is clean, swim/surf possible (nice beach break). Everything is quite new and well maintained, and the staff is very helpful, most of them are English speaking which makes everything easier. Already thinking about our next trip.

Hotel environment is very good! This is my second time here. The front desk service is very warm and patient, and the quality is cheap. I happened to come to Wanning for a business trip, so I came directly to this hotel.
