"The room was simple, old, hot and stuffy. I couldn't sleep without the fan. The carpet felt dirty. Maybe it wasn't dirty, but it felt like that to me. There was only one employee at the front desk to handle check-in, check-out and other matters, just like a guesthouse. The room I was given was in a corner at first. After going up and down the elevator, I had to carry the suitcase and climb 2 flights of stairs. What's worse is that there was a wall outside the window. I couldn't see anything inside or outside the room. It was dark and damp. My vacation turned into a prison cell. I didn't book the lowest price, so I couldn't live in this room. I told Ctrip, and Ctrip said I needed to contact the agent. I didn't get any results for a long time, so I went to the front desk to ask for a room change. The new room I was given was a room with a window facing the hotel entrance. The curtains had to be closed during the day, and there was no shower room. It was still inconsistent with the order. In order to keep a holiday mood, I didn't ask for anything else and barely made do for 2 nights, and then checked out decisively. There were not many guests staying in the hotel, and half of the small breakfast room was empty. Even so, why couldn't they arrange a more satisfactory room for the guests? No wonder there were not many guests staying in the hotel."

"I am going to make a point about the service in Novotel: I was greeted by Gita and she has done an absolute excellent job. I have asked for a quiet room so I can have some sleep as had an early flight. I have passed my special thank you to Gita when I was leaving, through a receptionist man, early morning. The hotel room was ready on my arrival but obviously it needs updating as looks scratchy, and shabby but it didn't effect me at all, for night before the flight it was excellent! I would definitely recommend the hotel and will be back again. Many thanks to Gita and manager Jastina."
