My wife and I had a beautiful relaxing weekend. Service was great, staff were helpful. The chef's cooking was extra special. Would we go again....a definite yes!

Very disappointed!! We've had a superior room reservation from 22 to 25 July 2026. The lodge is absolutely not superior nor luxury. Room 5 had no view and no privacy, we could hear everything from the room next door. Room needs an upgrade!! No management in sight! Spa could not offer a couples massage, only one person at a time. I've requested a 60min facial for the next morning without confirmation as promised by the therapist. Food was very good. Barman on the second night was still in training. We left a day earlier and no compensation considered. Confusion with our account at departure which was awkward. We still ensured a good tip for the staff.

Great service, very quite . Only issue was roadworks outside Bela bela but stay was amazing. The staff is friendly, helpful and go out of their way to be of assistance!

What an awesome adventure! From the get go we were treated like VIP clients. The warm welcome, the beautiful rooms, the friendly staff, and the food! The food was absolutely aswewome. Thanks to Danie and his team at Itaga. We will be back.

We stayed for 6 days and received the warmest welcome from all the staff at Itaga, they made us feel so at home and incredibly spoilt. Aleckz is the BEST game ranger, if there are elephants to be found he will find them, and I highly recommend booking a massage with Rosina in the outdoor spa. The food is phenomenal, the chalets are gorgeous, with an outdoor shower. Cannot recommend Itaga enough, we hope to be back soon.
