"We got in and were welcomed up to standard expectations. No fuss and straight to the point for a quick check in. The room was nice and spacious. Hot water for shower was appreciated. It seemed like the toilet was in a continually flushing state, but maybe the knob was just a little off because it wasn't always like that when fiddled with. Vending machine needs a longer vending time for some items to properly drop, but it's a vending machine afterall. We didn't get to the pool area, but we did get breakfast. We were a little late to it, but one of the staff let us have the leftover sausage and eggs which was much appreciated. I think that was the wow factor for us as we really had no expectation of getting anything for our error. The next breakfast day was also very nice and we enjoyed the refreshments on time. We also had a bit of trouble with our cards on one return, but the front desk quickly helped us out and explained how to keep them safer from getting deactivated by keeping them away from phones and magnets. There are several restaurants and a dunkNdonuts nearby as well as a gas station, which was convenient. There is even extra parking near La Quinta. All in all we had a good stay and may think about staying here again if we swing by rhode island. I recommend exploring Warwick as it's a nice Centerpoint to get around Rhode Island. We were particularly interested in the historical mansions down south east among the smaller isles, which were roughly an hour or less away."

Oakland beach is located in the center of the state just minutes from the airport. The Loft is a great place to start your day and and an even better place to end it.
Roll back to a time when a family vacation to the beach brought you all back together. Spend your days relaxing on the sand riding bikes or paddling along Bushneck Cove then Return to a comfortable home to dine in or go out to one of those many local restaurants to enjoy your evening.
The space
The Loft was originally a Hayloft that was built in the late 1800s, in the early nineteen hundreds it was moved to its current location in converted to a summer beach house. Where it has withstood two major hurricanes and many minor ones. The house was closed up in 2004 and remained vacant until we purchased it in 2021. My wife and I fell in love with the character of the home and decided to turn it to a year-round residents updating everything but keeping it's classic and unique Style . We truly hope you love it as much as we do.
Guest access
Guest have complete access to the house yard and amenities. On the front porch of the house there's a wonderful porch swing where you can sit and relax and watch time go by . The house has two floors on the first floor you'll find the main room which contains two couches and a chair also a dining table and a daybed. there are three Alexa's in the house you may unplug them if you choose they have their own network and they do not share access outside of the property and they are strictly For Your Entertainment. There's an electronic fireplace on the wall with a TV mounted over it. be on the dining table there is a fully stocked kitchen with standard sized appliances. Beyond that is the bathroom with a stand up shower and it also contains a washer and dryer. There is a side deck which has a Weber grill a fire pit a conversation sitting area dining table with chairs there is also a shower outside on the back deck.
On the second floor you will find two bedrooms and a 1/2 bath the front bedroom has wonderful views of Buschneck Cove looking up Narragansett Bay and has wonderful Sunset as its west-facing. A California king size adjustable bed with massage will help you sleep at night. off the main bedroom there is a 10 x 12 deck just sit and enjoy your coffee or start work on your tan. There are also two kayaks available for use but you will have to sign a disclaimer before using them. Also we have a few different yard games which people tend to enjoy.
Other things to note
there are 2 cameras on the property. One camera is a ring doorbell. the second camera is is located on the on top of the building covering the driveway and grounds. These cameras are there for security and insurance purposes.
