Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Georgetown Area

This hotel in Washington D.C. is listed on Trip.com as opening in 2014, but it still feels quite new overall. The rooms are spacious, stylishly decorated, and feature large, bright floor-to-ceiling windows. The only minor issue is that the air conditioning blows directly onto one of the beds, making it easy to catch a cold. Also, getting to attractions like the Washington Monument requires a taxi; it's not quite in the city center. However, there's a McDonald's about a ten-minute walk away that tastes much better than the ones in China. Overall, I'm satisfied.

1. The hotel's location is convenient, a 20-25 minute walk to the White House. 2. The restaurant downstairs seems popular and good. 3. On the first day, we arrived after 9 PM. The staff still needed to check if the room was ready. Shortly after checking in, someone else used a key card to open our door. Luckily, the safety latch was engaged. They apologized, saying they'd swiped the wrong room. It was late, so I didn't bother to pursue it further. 4. The next day, after returning from sightseeing, our room hadn't been cleaned. When I asked the front desk for water, they only gave us two bottles, and said a third would be charged (we booked for three adults). On the first day, they provided water for three people, and other hotels usually provide water according to the number of guests.
