Room is very big, had a gym downstairs with free access for all those staying in the hotel. There is also a water dispenser in the gym, and every morning at the lobby there is free coffee and tea with milk and sugar provided. Really nice location which is walkable to national mall (maybe 25 minutes) and also walkable to georgetown

Overall was a great stayed. Walked in the hotel right hand side was a bar. Also a restaurant on the main floor. The hotel offered valet parking for a fee. (Shop around for parking near by) I picked this hote was walkable and near by Foggy Bottom Metro station very convenient. Uber took about fifteen minutes to Washington DC museum area. Check in was very efficient. Unfortunately we got in some issues regarding for this booking. Long story short, a manager Mahmoud C was very patient and professional to resolve the issues for us. It was not what we wanted but there was no other better choice. We only stayed one night in The Melrose Georgetown Hotel. The room was spacious and well maintained. It was very comfortable.

The front desk staff were excellent, and the location is superb – very close to Georgetown which has tons of great food and shopping. There's also a fantastic Asian restaurant right across from the hotel.

The hotel is decent, with a great location for getting around. However, the air conditioning in the room was incredibly noisy. Also, they charged a $50 fee for checking in even one minute early, which meant everyone was waiting in the lobby. As a result, there was a huge queue at check-in time.

We stayed for two nights, no room service. The front desk said that they do every two days, but charge resort fee. Tiny bathroom, trouble to turn around and close the door. Older rooms and not worth the price.
