Everything about Elk Ridge is fantastic, but the one key thing we appreciate is all the staff and how accommodating regardless of where they are working at the resort. The same is true for the staff in the summer at the golf course. Any time you pass an ElkRidge employee at any time of the year they are friendly and eager to assist you with any areas you may be looking for help.

Very lovely cabins. Clean spacious and kitchen well equipped. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst weekends in Sask for mosquitoes and smoke,so having a nice cabin was a God send. We visited the Wyld restaurant on site and they had a great burger and beer special. It was trivia night which was a lot of fun too. We went to Waskesiu and got some awesome fresh baked cinnamon buns from Bakers Market but get there early, they are usually sold out by 930ish.

Our family of eight stayed in one of the 3 bedroom townhouses for three nights during Family Week. We were somewhat disappointed with the upkeep of the place. The dishwasher wouldn't wash dishes properly, let alone drain. The toaster didn't work. The shower and faucet in upstairs bathroom needed fixing and the bathroom closet door, once opened, wouldn't close. The loft railing had a broken spindle which is dangerous for small children. We had to wash our own towels because if you needed more, you had to pay $25.00. This accommodation was expensive and yes, it was Family Week and we we're ready to pay the price, but please, check out the place before you rent it out and make sure everything works properly!!

It’s always a fun time at Elkridge with so many activities available that include equipment to borrow. We were a group of 5 adults. The skating ice was in great shape and we played Mini Ice Golf, mini Curling and went tubing and swimming. In past years our group also skied, snowshoed and hiked. Our cottage was so clean and had a full kitchen of whatever utensils, pots and dishes we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. We finished the weekend with lunch at the beautiful Frederich restaurant.

The property is beautiful and scenic ! Comfortable stay. But the management doesn't direct you properly with what we should do apart from just staying there. I see lot of activities mentioned in their website but we were not guided enough on what we can do when. The food quality definitely needs improvement. We do not have much restaurants around.

you have spent millions to buy this resort but today everything is about online booking and your online booking is a waste of time and costing you every customer available. You have an online site that directs people to make a phone call to book a room and so you will have empty rooms because this does not work. I am not sure that I can help but help you need and I love the resort and would like to see it succeed but it will not unless you come up with a plan that includes a realistic online booking system as well as targeted specials to fill empty rooms. An empty room is just a lost opportunity and a wasted space sorry for my harsh words but it is so disappointing to see such a great property being so poorly marketed .

I stayed for 1 night (Tuesday, January 7th), while travelling for work, at Elk Ridge On The Lake. Upon check-in at the main lodge, I was advised it would be a 10 minute drive to get to my room in Waskesiu, and that the door would be unlocked and keys sitting on the table in the room. Upon arrival at my room, the door was locked. I phoned reception and was told that it would be 10 to 15 minutes for somebody to come let me in. OK - at least I had my vehicle running for heat on a cold January Northern Saskatchewan evening. After 30 minutes, I phoned reception again asking if somebody had left to come open my room, they put me on hold to find out nobody had left and it will now be about another 20 minutes waiting. I suggested that I just drive back to the main lodge and put me up there for the evening - was told it was already full (I will have to take their word for it). Somebody did eventually arrive… 50 minutes after my initial phone call sharing that the door was locked. Of course, no heat was on in the unit. It probably took close to 3 hours before the baseboard heaters were able to get the unit up to an appropriate temperature (never did remove my jacket during that time). I shared this experience through the resorts website’s “Make Us Better” feedback form that Tuesday night where I asked some somebody from management to give me a call to address this experience. No response. Wednesday (around 11:30 am), I got a phone call seeking to confirm I checked out (I was to have just left the keys on the table which I did when I left at 7 am). I said yes, and then ask that they have somebody from management call me (and I shared my experience with this associate). No response. Thursday night, before boarding my flight back home, I once again submitted the feedback form specifically asking somebody from management to call me on my experience. No response. Now 4 days after this experience, I get an automated email saying “We value your opinion” asking me to leave a review… I get that issues happen, but it is how people choose to deal with the issue that makes the difference. Too bad my business is not valued, and if they treat everyone this way, I would NOT recommend booking here.

We were very lucky that the weather was mild and allowed us to take advantage of all the outdoor activities . We went skating, cross-country skiing , tubing , used the indoor pool with water slide and our accommodation in the 3 bedroom townhouse was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the Elk Ridge Resort for two nights in mid-September while exploring Prince Albert National Park. The park is right there so it is a good location. Check in was good, parking is close. There is a formal dining room and bar in the lodge, but not many people there. I went over to the golf clubhouse right next door. Food was what you would expect…it was kind of a sports bar. Most people there seemed to be either at a wedding or golfing. I had an Executive King Pond-View room in the lodge. I do not remember the room number, but it was on the second floor at the end of the hall. Very nice room, large, hot tub, gas fireplace, balcony overlooking the back of the property. Everything was clean and worked. I enjoyed my stay here.
