"This time, I brought my child to Sanya and specifically chose the MGM Grand Sanya. Our stay completely exceeded expectations, and I just have to rave about it! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were impressed by the clean and comfortable environment. The public areas were lush with greenery and elegantly laid out, and the room itself was spotless. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the hygiene details were impeccable, making for a truly peaceful stay. The biggest surprise was the hotel's amenities – they were absolutely fantastic! Whether it was the family-friendly facilities, leisure and entertainment options, or dining services, everything catered to diverse needs. I have to highlight the 'Fun Dynamic Surfing' two-person experience. I was worried my child might be hesitant, but there was a professional instructor who provided patient guidance, making the whole experience safe and fun. My child had a blast and kept saying they wanted to come back again – it's definitely a must-do activity for families. The dining also provided a huge pleasant surprise. The breakfast spread was incredibly diverse and dazzling! Both Chinese and Western dishes were available, including fresh seafood, steaming hot noodles, exquisite desserts, freshly made omelets, and coffee. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic, satisfying everyone in the family. We left feeling both full and content. And the service was beyond words. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive throughout our stay, from check-in to daily inquiries. They responded promptly, answered patiently, and even proactively offered thoughtful suggestions, which made our trip much smoother. The hotel's location is also excellent; we could walk to the beach, enjoy the sea breeze, and play in the waves – it was so relaxing and pleasant. Whether you're traveling with kids, on a couple's getaway, or a family vacation, the MGM Grand Sanya is an excellent choice. The clean environment, comprehensive amenities, rich dining options, and attentive service all reflect high quality. This experience was truly perfect, and I've already recommended it to my friends. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Sanya!"

"It's the off-season in Sanya, and after browsing online for half a day, I decided on the Yingbin Hotel. I heard it's a great hotel overshadowed by its name, haha, but it's actually a five-star hotel! 🏝 Surroundings: The hotel is located at No. 14 Longhai Road, Yalong Bay National Tourism Resort, Jiyang District. The location is truly excellent! However, to be fair, the hotel doesn't have its own private beach. You need to walk about 3 minutes to Yalong Bay beach, where the sand is as fine as flour – much better than Sanya Bay. It's also super close to Baihua Valley Commercial Street, so if you want a late-night snack or to do some shopping, you can just stroll over without needing a taxi. But be warned, things there are quite expensive, about 5-20 yuan more than normal prices. I'd recommend checking out the night market in Bo She Village instead; the prices there are very reasonable! It's fantastic! 🌳 Environment: 1. The underwater restaurant is incredibly photogenic! The Ocean Blue Restaurant is definitely the most worthwhile place to visit in the hotel. In the huge glass wall on the first basement floor, over 4,000 tropical fish swim around. During breakfast, you can watch manta rays glide by. The best part is the great value for money; the dinner buffet is only a little over 200 yuan per person, and you don't pay extra for a good seat by the glass. Just make a reservation in advance with the front desk. I only waited 10 minutes to get a spot. 2. The swimming pool is also excellent! The 3000-square-meter Dreamy Pool changes colors at night, which is super magical. Next to it, there's a 9-meter-tall pirate ship water play area. My child spent all day there and didn't want to leave. The indoor kids' club is also big enough, with a bouncy castle, bumper cars, and an electronic aquarium. You can drop your child off there, and they'll play happily for two hours, giving parents a much-needed break. 🏠 Room Facilities: I originally booked a twin room, but Ms. Panpan from the Guest Services Department, my butler, upgraded us to a deluxe twin room for free, which I'm very grateful for. The room is on the 8th floor, and you can see Yalong Bay and the hotel's swimming pool from outside. It's incredibly picturesque with a fantastic view. Thank you so much! The room is also very spacious and has a balcony, where you can enjoy a drink while looking down at the swimming pool – it's so relaxing! The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own private beach, but it's very close to Yalong Bay beach. There's also a night market nearby. However, with the current lower prices, the overall value for money is still quite high. If you're coming for a visit, I highly recommend booking this hotel!"

"Third time here and we had a fantastic family holiday again! Location, beach, swimming pools and gardens are gorgeous and really well kept. We love the different pool options and the room with direct pool access is so convenient with kids. I agree with other reviews that rooms could use renovation, especially if they used to be smoking rooms, but daily cleaning is impeccable. The open air breakfast spot is lovely and breakfast choice is excellent, Chinese restaurant is also very good and provided such nice support to celebrate kid’s birthday. Derrick Liu was so helpful to address any concerns, everyone on staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Can wholeheartedly recommend!"

"It's been two days since we got back from Sanya, and my whole family is still raving about our stay at the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay Resort and Spa. Traveling with seniors and children, my biggest fear was inconvenience and discomfort, but the Grand Hyatt, with its incredibly friendly atmosphere and thoughtful service, gave us a perfect vacation that exceeded all our expectations! The two 'Forest Fun Rooms' we booked were absolutely fantastic! As soon as we walked in, our child cheered and rushed to the little tent. The room decor wasn't an exaggerated cartoon style, but rather created a natural, cozy forest ambiance using elements like solid wood and green leaves, which even the adults found very comfortable. There were also exclusive children's bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, and even a step stool, completely freeing up parents' hands from having to pack a bunch of extra items. The balcony had a great view of the lush greenery in the resort, and waking up to the sound of birds chirping put us in a wonderfully relaxed mood. The in-room washing machine and drying rack were absolute lifesavers for a beach vacation! Every day, after swimming, we could wash and dry our clothes directly, so they were ready to wear the next day – so convenient. The hotel is like a giant tropical botanical garden, with incredibly high green coverage. Even at the hottest time of day, walking along the shaded paths, you don't feel the sun at all. Activity areas like the swimming pools, kids' club, and petting zoo all have shade or cover, so babies can play to their hearts' content without worrying about sunburn. During our stay, our days were packed with activities. We participated in the Li ethnic bonfire party and the pet park, and our child had an absolute blast. The hotel's private beach has fine sand and a gentle slope, making it perfect for children to dig and play in the waves. What made this trip truly warm and thoughtful was meeting our exclusive butler, Xixi. One day before check-in, Xixi proactively contacted us to confirm our itinerary and needs, and thoughtfully informed us about the weather and important considerations. Upon arrival at the hotel, Xixi actively helped us with a quick check-in process and detailed the hotel's facilities and activities via WeChat, saving us a lot of time. Throughout our stay, whenever we messaged Xixi on WeChat, she always responded instantly and helped us solve problems as quickly as possible. That reassuring feeling of 'just tell me what you need, and I'll take care of it all' instantly made any anxiety about traveling with a child disappear. The most, most, most commendable thing is that knowing we had seniors and a child with us, she even arranged for us to dine at the nearest VIP restaurant. The breakfast spread was amazing! After eating, the kids could even watch [redacted] and play with building blocks on the second floor! Xixi also specially presented our child with a small souvenir when we checked out. These small gestures made us feel like we weren't just staying at a hotel, but rather visiting a thoughtful friend."

"This hotel truly has a warm heart! They go above and beyond to accommodate every request, exceeding expectations. The entire staff is incredibly professional, with a strong service-oriented mindset, attentive and thoughtful, anticipating your needs and addressing your concerns promptly. The beach is just a five-minute walk away. They even offer complimentary travel photography, movie tickets, free shuttle service to and from duty-free shops, a gym, branded dining, and live singers. The daily activities are constantly exciting, and I was especially touched by our butler, Jeff. His service far surpassed what I expected, making every effort to ensure I felt completely at home. I truly wish I could move my home into this hotel! Waking up to the ocean view and all the various water activities makes you feel like this world is truly beautiful! Over four years ago, I stayed at this hotel for a CCTV parent-child event. The organizers chose it, and it left a fantastic impression on me. This is my second trip to Sanya, and I chose to stay here again. Everything is still wonderful, and the activities are even more diverse now. Yesterday, the hotel's children's playground organized a beach foraging activity, and my child found their very first crab! Thank you to the hotel for their thoughtfulness! I rarely write reviews because I'm so busy, but this time is an exception. I genuinely want to share this with everyone – you absolutely have to experience everything here if you get the chance!"

"Pullman, an Accor hotel, always brings a touch of French romance. I've been to Sanya over 20 times, staying in Haitang Bay, Yalong Bay, and Sanya Bay. I've experienced everything from the high-end Edition to the budget-friendly Jinghai Holiday. Looking at Sanya Bay, I can confidently say Pullman is the best hotel there, bar none. Let's start with the positives: 1. The primary function of a hotel is comfort, cleanliness, and quiet, and Pullman excels. I thoroughly inspected the room and didn't find a single hair, which speaks volumes about the meticulous cleaning. They even provide buckwheat pillows, perfect for guests who prefer a lower pillow. 2. The service was impeccable. Our butler, VIVI, provided exceptional service throughout our stay, even upgrading our room. A big thumbs up! We originally booked a twin room, and VIVI upgraded us to a king-size executive suite – a huge thank you. She even gifted us a lovely teddy bear on our departure. 3. The facilities are comprehensive. The BBQ buffet dinner had a fantastic ambiance, and the Chinese restaurant offered both Cantonese and Hainanese cuisine. The spa prices were very reasonable, with no hidden costs. The game room also had a great selection of arcade machines. 4. Access to the beach is convenient via a road with an elevator, which is a significant improvement over the Howard Johnson, which only has stairs. 5. The executive lounge offers great views and a refined selection of food and drinks. Now, for areas that could be improved: 1. The color scheme of the living room sofa could be changed to a lighter shade. It felt a bit cold and didn't match the cozy feel of the bedroom. 2. The breakfast selection could benefit from more Chinese dishes. It felt a bit heavily skewed towards Western options. However, I understand this might be due to the large number of Russian guests – sometimes I felt like I was abroad just taking pictures!"

"Our room was on a high floor with views of both the lake and the ocean. There were so many family-friendly activities, like the panda dance, magic shows, and lacquer fan making in the lobby. The breakfast spread was extensive with a wide variety of options. The infinity pool was perfect for photos. My child absolutely loved the water park downstairs; it was genuinely great for kids aged 3 and up, and there was even crab catching! The beach was just across the road, with hotel sun loungers and staff, who also provided sand-digging tools and towels. The mini-bar was replenished after we finished items, and bottled water was unlimited. Our butler, Beibei, was incredibly attentive and responsible. She prepared a bed rail and a child's toilet seat for us in advance and checked in daily to see if we needed anything – big thumbs up! On our last night, she even sent up desserts and fruit."

"Before coming, I kept seeing posts about a typhoon and constant rain, but since the flight and hotel were already booked, I just had to console myself that coastal weather is unpredictable and forecasts are often wrong. So I braced myself and came! Arrived in Sanya at noon on Nov 3rd, and encountered three rain showers, each lasting less than half an hour. Even though it was overcast with no sun, I was still satisfied 😂. Nov 4th started cloudy with only one short rain shower. I was with my child doing crafts at the hotel and didn't even notice how long it rained, probably less than half an hour. At 2 PM, we had a scheduled 'Binguo Travel Photography' session, which was a complimentary service from the hotel, and here's the highlight! The sky cleared up! We saw blue skies and white clouds, which was incredibly moving. The photos turned out surprisingly well. I initially thought I wouldn't pay extra if the photos weren't good, but... I ended up happily paying for them. Nov 5th was even better, mostly sunny. We took my grandparents and child to see the Guanyin of Nanshan. My grandparents prefer visiting attractions over staying at the hotel, so we made a last-minute trip to see it from a distance. We took a Didi taxi to 'Nanshan Aerial Photography Yueji Travel Photography,' walked across a stretch of beach, and reached the sea where we could photograph the Guanyin statue. On the way back to the hotel, we also stopped by Tianya Town, which felt like there was nothing there... I think staying at the hotel is the way to go in Sanya☺️. From Nov 3rd to 5th, we stayed at the Howard Johnson Resort Sanya Bay. The room was a bit old and dimly lit, but the parent-child activities were quite diverse. We booked activities via a mini-program at 7:30 PM the day before. My child had a blast, crossing the underground passage to the beach to take photos and collecting many small shells and conches. The afternoon 'Bubble Cruise' was absolutely my child's favorite. I tested the water and it felt quite cold, but the kids didn't want to get out. Overall, it was great value for money! Too bad we didn't have time to swim; maybe next time we'll try a different hotel and go for a swim."

"After staying at The EDITION for several days, I only left one day for the Mandarin Oriental, and I really should have stayed at the Mandarin for more days! Seriously, I'm not exaggerating – it was uncrowded and absolutely overflowing with a vacation vibe. The glassy sea, coconut groves, and the hotel's public areas are incredibly photogenic, with various pavilions that make for great pictures. The only downside is the lack of a vast, fine sand beach for you to run wild on. This particular stretch of ocean is even more stunning and translucent than Haitang Bay, and when the weather is clear, the feeling is truly amazing. The service was also top-notch, as expected from the Mandarin Oriental. I had originally booked a basic room at the Ocean View Pavilion, but Ms. Jessica directly upgraded me to the Sea Breeze Pavilion, putting the ocean right at my doorstep. During my stay, she also provided a lot of assistance, including asking about my future travel plans and offering a late checkout. I even asked the front desk staff for several new room cards as souvenirs (the room cards feature the hotel's fan emblem, and every Mandarin Oriental has its own unique fan). I'll definitely be back next year and will stick with the Mandarin Oriental from now on. I really have to hand it to them!"
