"I rarely write reviews unless I have a bad experience, but this time, Haiyue truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled within a beautiful garden, feeling like a huge park, and there's a shuttle service, though you sometimes have to wait a bit. The room design is very Southeast Asian, giving off a lovely resort vibe—I really liked it. They even provided thoughtful amenities for my baby, like toiletries and a bed rail. The water villas (水苑) reminded me of a more affordable version of the Mandarin Oriental Sanya; it was very pleasant to take a walk there in the evenings. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast were delicious. It's very close to the beach, and while the scenery isn't quite as stunning as Sanya, I felt the service here was much better than Sanya hotels. In Sanya, no one helps with your luggage, but here, check-in was quick and check-out was super easy. I regret not booking an extra night, the experience was so good. There aren't many dining options nearby, but getting a taxi is convenient.
Also, the kids' play area had a minor safety concern that needs attention, but the staff were very responsible in discouraging some of the older children from misbehaving there."
