We had tickets for the Harry Potter Studio tour and we needed a hotel for the night. The location turned out to be the perfect choice for us. It’s really close to the M1 junction and it’s only two miles away from the studios. The guy who we saw when we first arrived at 10am gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful. He helped us register our car and stored our bags for us until later, as we were heading down to Richmond for the afternoon. We then got back to the hotel around 4pm and we were checked in by the lovely Jennifer, who I would describe as a walking smile. She is so friendly and looked to genuinely enjoy chatting and helping guests. Our rooms were spacious and they seemed to have been recently refurbished. Although the air conditioning wasn’t working, the team had thoughtfully left two fans in my room, which did the job just as well. Breakfast was great and Jennifer, and another lady who I didn’t catch the name of, both worked tirelessly to make sure everyone had what they needed and the food was re-stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely book this hotel again if we are going to an event at Wembley, or even at Twickenham, as both are easy to get to from Watford Junction train station.
