Wayanad Wild - A CGH Earth Experience

The staff is top-notch. They ensure that you have access to the best available amenities at the resort. The naturists are highly skilled, and I thoroughly enjoyed the night walks with them, as well as the midday and early morning short treks.

We had an superb stay at Wayanad Wild. The setting was fabulous set into the jungle; all of the staff were welcoming and warm; the rooms were very comfortable; and the food was terrific. But most importantly for us was the wonderful team of naturalists who helped us discover all of the amazing bird life in the area (pic of a Frogmouth Owl below). We would very much like to go back.

The staffs are very pleasant. The food is amazing but the spread could have more options. The wildlife experts have the apt knowledge. The in-house activities were interesting and engaging. I felt the need of more options of such activities for people coming for more than 2 days.

We had a wonderful time at CGH Wild Wayanad and can’t wait to return. Apart from fantastic food, rooms and views, the nature walks and staff service really blew us away. Perfect for wildlife enthusiasts who can get a morning, afternoon and night walk on the massive property rich with wildlife. We saw a range of reptiles, birds, deer and insects endemic to the region and learned a lot. Felt like we were staying at home. Every detail of our stay was attended to by the thoughtful staff.

The drive and the 20 minute jeep ride to the property was a challenge but once you got there it was just wonderful. Sounds of nature all around. The staff are a gem - young, enthusiastic, motivated, skilled and knowledgeable. I could go on. We had interesting talks about the biodiversity of the area. There were several walks and activities to experience this biodiversity. My husband could not participate in this because of mobility problems and activities to suit such individuals could be considered. However, buggies were available for transport if needed and staff were on hand if you needed help. The food was fantastic-so much variety and opportunity to experience local as well continental cuisine. Eating in some darkness was a challenge but we understood this was to protect nature. There was a big focus on sustainability and caring for the environment. This care and the various methods used was one of the highlight of our trip. Some issues re temperature of water in showers and road safety for walking needs looking at. Staff were open to addressing these issues when we gave them a feedback. A wonderful place and we will certainly be back.

The feeling of absolute comfort will never leave you, be it when chilling in your room or you are deep into the jungle doing their flagship activity :- "The Silent Sahayadri". It was a well rounded holiday for us with a complete experience across culinary, adventure and comfort. With a plethora of activities both for adults and kids, one cannot ask for more. Kids loved their night walk and stream expeditions as much as we adults were thrilled by their absolute fantastic exhilarating experience of "The Silent Sahayadri : - exploring into the jungles through heavy rains and mist!! Situated deep into the wild, the staff of Wayanad wild leave no stone unturned to provide you with the best that they can. Their Naturalists are very friendly with the kids who keep them interested and occupied in activities and talks. They are expert spotters of even the smallest visuals and sounds in the deepest of forests. Big round of applause!!!! Thanks to the entire team of Wayanad Wild for making our stay a great memory, especially for making my wife and daughter feel really special on their birthdays!! Kudos to you. Hope to see you again!
