"Terrible experience. I was in town for a planned 5 night stay at $120 per night. (Expensive for the amenities offered) The room we ( my dog and I ) were put in was not "updated" as I later found when talking to check out lady. ( as if it were acceptable to be filthy ) The floors were nasty, as my socks showed, along with long hair being present on my pillows and on the bed sheets. The bathroom was not considered clean, and the fan was very old and extremely loud. The room I was in was at the top of the stairs where the guests could be heard clearly outside the door as they stumbled up stairs from the bar. I put a towel under the door to try to keep the light out and some of the noise down. When I talked to the gal at the counter the next morning, she challenged my findings of the hair and carpet, ( stinky too ) and told me that she changed the room out herself. I told her I was not lying, and in replying she stated, " NEITHER AM I " Being I was in a room that that was not "updated" and there were no offers to move me to another room that was "updated" I decided to move next door at a much cleaner and quieter place called Bloomers Outback for roughly $70 per night. ( these businesses share parking lot entry's ) In checking out, I was charged for "early" departure of one night stay and they were adamant about not offering that refund, which I did not put up too much of a fuss because this place was gross. Sometimes lessons cost a few bucks. Mine was learned. A wise man learns from others mistakes. You can learn from mine.. Restaurant was decent, I will say. There are not a lot of options in Webster and the food was solid. Not exceptional and far from bad. Price was what you would expect for a town without a lot of options. Staff was friendly but short.. With that said, we all should be used to that by now. As a small business owner myself, I find it difficult to offer negative reviews. The counter staff at the hotel convinced me I needed to do so, in how I was treated while expressing my displeasure for the lack of cleanliness my roof offered. This place could do better. Much better. "
